Flynny Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 Surely it'd have been best to let him in and then nick him the moment he said anything inflammatory? At least we'd have given him a chance and could have claimed the moral high ground to an extent.
Daggers Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 Van Der Valk, he was Dutch wasn't he? I liked that theme tune - it went der der der der der der der der der der, derderder, der der de der der derrrrrrrrr. That was a good TV show.
Guest Bilo Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 See my reply above. Consistency is key, but that is not to say that Muslims have always been allowed to come in to our country to preach hate. The same argument that you use re: Youtube is equally applicable to Muslims who are already feeling isolated, and are turning to extremist views. I agree with that, but believe that people who may not even have noticed his arrival in the UK if it had been officially sanctioned will now, because of the furore caused by the present situation, be more likely to search for his message in other media. The analogy I'd use is that of the 'video nasties' in the early 80s. As soon as a film was banned, more people wanted to see it. The fact that most were awful was irrelevant as most wanted to see them purely because of the fuss that had been kicked up. Now that such films are out in the open, we can see them for what they are. Crap. In an ideal world, we should all be allowed to think and believe what we want, as long we do no harm to anything or anyone, and we should be allowed to do this without fear of being persecuted or murdered for our beliefs. I wish we could, I really do.
BoneDog Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 Islam go mental because someone calls a teddy bear Mohammed and the Muslims say she should be stonned to death A newpaper draws a cartoon of Mohammed and Muslims claim Demark should be nuked I don't agree with any relgion but Islam pisses me off. Cos you don't know what you're talkin about. If you knew anything about Islam (real Islam) and not the crap that fake Muslims do or what the lying government tell you, I think you'd not hate it so much.
Daggers Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 Tell you what - I don't believe anyone can be that bad if they come from the country which gave the world Chips & Mayonnaise and Coffee Shops. Just think, without the Dutch we'd have no red light areas - they invented them. I'm betting Geert loves cheese on clogs as much as the next man.
BoneDog Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 I've had chips n mayonnaise for me tea. Crackerjack
Edmund Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 Just a few of his ideas taken from Wiki so which ones would you say are out of order?Banning Islamic headwear in public functions, Off topic I don't agree with this statement but wearing a burkha whilst driving should be banned. How it can be safe to drive with a burkha on is beyond me. Jeoperdises other peoples safety on the road. This isn't a question of religion its just common sense.
BoneDog Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 The powers that be know what they are doing. They want to create more hate and they do things all the time to ensure this. That is one of the reasons Hamza and his like get away withg it for so long. Plays right into the governments hands.

Daggers Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 I think it is wrong that Muslims are allowed to wear shoes. And Christians should not be allowed to wear trousers on Fridays. Makes me sick to the pit of my stomach that they get away with this shit daily.
BoneDog Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 The sooner he gets shot the better. Along with all the other hate mongers out there from all races/religions. But it aint gonna happen cos half of em are in the employ of certain governments.
BoneDog Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 Fisherman should have to carry binoculars at all times even when not fishing, by law.

In many Muslim countries it's fordidden for women to drive.
lavrentis Posted 13 February 2009 Author Posted 13 February 2009 In many Muslim countries it's fordidden for women to drive. That's ridiculous. How can you live like that for the sake of religion.
BoneDog Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 In many Muslim countries it's fordidden for women to drive. Only Saudi aint it? And that's nowt to do with Islam. It's the Saudi regime that is in power due to the military aid of US/UK governments. Dictatorship I think and it's their law that doesn't allow women to drive.
BoneDog Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 That's ridiculous. How can you live like that for the sake of religion. Nothing to do with religion. It's a law put in place by the powers that be over there. It's like saying the laws in America are Christian laws.
Edmund Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 In many Muslim countries it's fordidden for women to drive. That is a bit extreme yes.

Koke Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 In many Muslim countries it's fordidden for women to drive. That's only in Saudi Arabia, and not the other 20 odd Muslims countries.
Daggers Posted 13 February 2009 Posted 13 February 2009 That's only in Saudi Arabia, and not the other 20 odd Muslims countries. There's hope it may spread.
BoneDog Posted 14 February 2009 Posted 14 February 2009 Yes, I suppose it's not such a bad idea after all
