Stuliasz Posted 19 February 2009 Posted 19 February 2009 Hartlepool United 2-2 Leicester City 17 February 2009 The big man Steve Howard continued his impressive run of form after storming away with the man of the match award against Hartlepool, thanks in no small part to his two goals scored on the evening. Howard's rating eclipsed the entire team with debutant keeper Mark Bunn impressing enough to be voted City's second best player whilst Bruno Berner marked his return to the starting eleven by also making the top three. Lloyd Dyer again was voted as flop of the match and whilst full backs Joe Mattock and Michael Morrison didn't have the best of games there was still a comfortable cushion between them and Dyer. Thracian Posted 19 February 2009 Posted 19 February 2009 As always the results show how differently fans see the game but there's no doubting the justice of Howard being number one and no doubting, in my mind, the massive influence he's been on our success level so far. And as the going gets tougher he seems to get better.
