If We win four of our last nine games this gives us 90 points!!!!!! For peterborough To then Catch Us They need to win 7 and draw 1 to get to 91 points. Millwall need to win 9 of there last 11 games to reack 91 Points Mk Dons need to win 9 From 12 to reach 91 points. Now lets be realistic, Its unlikley we will only win 4 games, Its even more Unlikely to think that any of those teams can go on that sort of run. We also have to play two of them, Win those and its over for sure, even if we fail to win they aint' catching us!!!! Also bear in mind there are still a few fixtures where they still need to play each other. 4 wins, 5 for sure and we are home and dry. Im stating the obvious above but puts things into perspective of what a great situatuion we are still in.

Forgot about all this 'it's the away teams cup final blah blah blah nonsense', we've just got to go out there and play it as if it's ours and crush the opposition. There's no point being half-hearted about it, we've got to go out and win these games. If we don't, we'll continue to draw at best, and then be constantly looking over our shoulders. Tomorrow is, potentially, the single most, biggest, most vital, most significant, result of the season.
teblin Posted 13 March 2009 Posted 13 March 2009 We have to assume that p'boro and all the teams below us win any where near another 7- 9 games. which i'd be very suprised by, and 2 teams have to do it not just 1. We'll pick up enough points Form over the last 6 games we haved picked up 9 from 6 which is 1.5 points a game. which would put us on about 91 Over the season we have averaged around 2 which would get us another 18 points which would put us on 96. Sorry if this has been said
