Fryatt and hayles were shocking yesterday. I dont think fryatt is really good enough for the championship too slow poor finisher no good in air. hayles is wank. The midfield is a big problem oakley was shocking and shows no presence in the middle kingys ok dyers 3rd division standard.

The only thing we have is a good defence when tunchevs back i think we will go straight back down unless we make major changes in the summer and im sure nigel will have faith in him hes built a team good enough to get out league 1 now he had to pretty much start from scratch and build a team to compete in the championship.

28 goals

Honestly next year there is no way we can keep the same front 2, it worked at this level, it wont next season and if I had to drop one of them myself it would be Fryatt. Get someone like Beckford or Billy Sharp in etc.

So we should drop a player who's excelled in this league but hasn't shone in the Championship for Billy Sharp (someone who's excelled in this league but has scored 8 league goals in 51 league games for Sheffield United in the Championship) or Jermaine Beckford (a player who has excelled in this league but hasn't shone in the Championship, albeit it in only ten games)?

Just what has Chambers done wrong? Surely after all this time he's worth a go in League One, with promotion almost secure, with the team needing pace and goals. Adams ditto...every time I've seen him he brings an energy to the midfield and DJ has a proven goalscoring record -everywhere except with us!! Obviously it's hard to criticise the Howard-Fryatt partnership after it's brought so many goals but it forces us to play a very crude style - long ball to SH, MF looks for the knock down...it just won't work in the championship and we need other options at the very least...

I agree about Chambers but Campbell's goal scoring record is far from great accept for half a season at Brentford and what he's doing at Blackpool now, he's never even gotten into double figures for his career with a Football league club

his league games (goals) starts those in bold are in the Football League

2000–2001 Chesham United 29 (16)

2001–2003 Stevenage Borough 23 (3)

2002 → Billericay Town (loan) 0 (0)

2003–2005 Yeading 89 (65)

2005–2006 Brentford 23 (9)

2006–2007 Birmingham City 43 (9)

2007– Leicester City 35 (4)

2009– → Blackpool (loan) 14 (6)

Personally I've not been that impressed with what I have seen of Adams either but I'd still have him around and in the 16 most weeks, especially now Cleverley is injured

Christ, some scout really earned their money on that one

Hayles should have been rid of in the summer.

Dickov should never have been signed.

Both need to be gone come August.

What has Chambers done to NFP not to get a chance? I thought he unsettled Palace in the latter stages of the replay and earned the right to the odd outing...but back in the league it's the old warhorses plus Fryatt...no-one else gets a look-in...
