davieG Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 From OS Two Leicester City players were on International duty last night for England. Joe Mattock featured for the Under-19's in a friendly at the Banks's Stadium, Walsall, against a resolute Czech Republic side, who held the young Lions to a 0-0 draw. Mattock was substituted after 73 minutes. Meanwhile, City Academy player, Tom Parkes, helped England Under-17's to a hard fought 1-0 victory over Portugal in the Varosi Stadium, Hungary. The match was the young Lions' first fixture of the Elite Qualifying Round and Parkes will hope to be involved on Friday in the second group match against Serbia.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 Never heard of Tom Parkes before. Can anyone shed any light?
