Middlesborough fined a whopping £6000

Is this some sort of joke. Why has a £2000 fine been suspended for over a year. If we got a fine in court for that amount we'd have to pay it in a fortnight

I still fail to understand how the club "control" their players in this situation. It's like saying the club should "control" a coin thrower. Failing to act after the event might be reasonable but this idea that some corporate body can somehow predict events act on them effectively in an instant is just nonsense. Another pathetic excuse for legally extorting money.
