Flynny Posted 30 March 2009 Posted 30 March 2009 Agree totally, get Surman in next season. I would actually love this, we'd have to splash out though. He's a Fulham/Everton sort of buy, lots of potential there.
clazkel Posted 30 March 2009 Posted 30 March 2009 Thought Oakley played well esp first half, him and Gradel, Kisnorbo and Hobss were the only players who had a half decent game. Set pieces tho were frustrating, he needs to do better.
Stig the Lawnmower Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 just an observation, but this is a totally stupid and unhelpful thread. he was not the worst player. you, mr ttfn, are a tit. dear Mr ttfn, I've read some of your posts in other threads, I no longer think you're a tit! i still don't agree with your post, but it does generate reaction, which of course this site is for stig the lawnmower, you are a tit!

maddog Posted 1 April 2009 Posted 1 April 2009 Tunchev's a Premiership player, and by far the best player in our squad. But hes been out for too long, i would rank Oakley behind at least 10 other players this season.

Ultra Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 A fair point. But he's an experienced ex-Premier League player and the captain of the side. He's got to carry the can. Indeed. He in particular has a big 5 games (hopefully no more..) coming up. If he plays like he did against Cheltenham or Millwall last month, we'll have no problem. But if he tries to stroll his way through games (as he's done all too often lately), then we may have an issue or two to deal with..
