Early kick off and on TV?

Well as the title states. Haven't we struggled in the past?

Yeovil was on tele... Won that comfortably.

As for early kick off's.. Means nothing.

I know it's the same for both sides but I still have much concern about teams playing twice in under 24 hours and fully expect to see some injuries as a a result of previously tired limbs being reluctant to rev themelves into action so soon after the trip back from Hereford.

Television will presumably help the adrenalin to flow - if they need to be pumped up given the occasion - but I wouldn't be that concerned about the cameras affecting the result - we seemed pretty good when we played Spurs in the Cup in front of the cameras and Crystal Palace the same year in a Friday evening match.

They used to play on consecutive days at both Christmas and Easter with heavier pitches and clodhopper boots as well as being less fit. Mind you there used to be some weird turn around in results. Before my time like.

It's the same for both sides.

Leeds haven't done too well in early kickoffs either. I seem to remember them losing to Huddersfield home and away, and Peterborough.

I know this is a bit off topic, but the TV bit suits me down to the ground. I live in Tenerife (sad really isn't it) and as I can't be there in person, I hope, some where in the excitement of the teams taking to the field, you could take a bit of time to cheer my grandson who is appearing as the mascot. I will be sat in a bar somewhere here with my chest bursting and a tear in my eye. This will be a dream come true, especially if the lads do the business during the game.

That's fantastic for the boy! What a dream.

I wish him, and all of your family all the very best during the treatment and beyond :)

But we both played on Saturday, thats not under 24 hours.

But i have also noticed that we never fair well from early KO's, Hudds for one, that is my only worry for the game, cos footy wise we will tear you up sorry to say, we have a far better squad than you, even though the table doesn't reflect this, but we do.
