Ultra Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I like Grayson. Not just because he was a legend when playing for us.... But,He's a very intelligent manager. Deep down, he knows that we were the better team, but his team have just lost a big game in the 92nd minute, and it's going to have hurt them. He's going to want to take as many positives out of this match as he can, and by saying that he thought they were the better team, will give a big boost to his players, staff and fans. This. (Sorry Valerenga...)
Ultra Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 He looked gutted at the final whistle. Pearson goes to embrace him but he's ignored. Why is Grayson gutted? He got his tactics and team selection wrong. Leeds played for a draw after Delph's chance and relied most on set-pieces to create a chance. He risked Becchio and Snodgrass who were both ineffective and played Delph out of his position. Dickinson was also very disappointing for them. He clearly lacked match fitness.
gerrytaggart Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 whatever the possession says, we were the better side over 90 minutes without a doubt...we looked consistantly more dangerous, dirty leeds lacked the cutting edge attacking....maybe with beckford in the side it may have been a different story but we had the best player on the pitch, I am more than pleased with the performance and the 1-0. hereford and leeds were just what we needed, came at a great time in the season just as p'boro are dropping points too......bring on southend.
Fox92 Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Really, what his he on? I thought, although Leeds may have had a 20 minute spell, we created the most chances and that.
TonyDorigo Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 No they were (according to their fans)... Oh and none of our players would get in their starting 11. That's what I thought... but the stats say 59% to Leeds 41% to Leicester I'd say 6 of your players would get into our starting line-up, to be fair. Also, the possession, I felt we had more, but as we always do away from home, we like to keep hold of it for 20 seconds before making our mind up on who to pass it to Another 10p.
surrifox Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I remember telling him week in and week out he was wrong, and generally not fit to wear our shirt. My opinion of him hasn't ever changed, except after his header in the semi final.. He had what half a decent season in a Leicester shirt? If that? He's in League one poverty.. we won't be. signed by Little for £50k and never looked worth much more - sold to Villa for £1.3million ! unbelievable
lookwhaticando Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 It's quite clear what's going on here. He's always had memory problems... now he's all confused about the Leicester job, the poor little bleeder thinks it's his.

Pretty much spot on. He doesn't won't his players to lose confidence at this stage of the season.
GloverFox Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Madness. Madness indeed ... as Chrisfox put it there's only one stat that matters ... Leicester 1 Leeds 0 It's exactly this arrogance that has been one of the driving factors that has kept Leeds in League One ... their just too BIG for League One! Nigel said on his post match it's been tough in this League, but the team has worked hard and is on the way to getting the just rewards ... but we're not there yet! Shows that he's totally committed and not under-estimating any of the opposition in this league. So where do Leeds get off with this atitutude of "we're better than anyone in the league", poor deluded Mr Grayson has certainly caught the disease I'm afraid!
