Macca4lcfc Posted 12 August 2004 Posted 12 August 2004 i am ashamed to say it, but they outsung is until about the 80th minute when trev scored. i was trying to get the singing going but people werent even making the effort. this was a derby match, and we were never losing, so why did they outsing us? not impressed!
Guest Posted 12 August 2004 Posted 12 August 2004 I think it must have been the shock of actually hearing the Derby fans that silinced our supporters! I joined in the singing to try and get it going, but it is difficult on your own....
Cobbo Posted 12 August 2004 Posted 12 August 2004 well we weren't outsung where I was sitting....we were loud throughout (except around the time of their goal <_< ) but I thought it was a cracking atmosphere.
Muz Posted 12 August 2004 Posted 12 August 2004 Me to cobbo where i was it was ver loud and i even got told to sit down!
Tomassi Posted 12 August 2004 Posted 12 August 2004 there was too many old people around us and we tried to get sining going but they kept sayin 'weve paid £25 to watch footy not u sing' wtf
Fox 4 Life Posted 12 August 2004 Posted 12 August 2004 And the fact that there was 22000 Derby fans to 4000 LCFC fans
Bluefoxtim Posted 12 August 2004 Posted 12 August 2004 jesus christ people told you to sit down and be quiet? ITS FOOTBALL!!!!!
Guest Daniel Posted 12 August 2004 Posted 12 August 2004 We definatly wernt outsung, we outsung them the whole game. I thought last nights atmosphere was amazing.
gagandeep Posted 12 August 2004 Posted 12 August 2004 what i hate is the atmosphere at home, it was abysmal against west ham, and last season, we could have acted as the 11th man againnst west ham. but no one sang where i was sitting, it was only l1 and a bit of the kop. the rest were quiet.
RoyFox Posted 12 August 2004 Posted 12 August 2004 don't worry millwall on Sat, the feckin boring tw-ts gets won't be there - pure 100% support ,standing and singin' and midgets team is doing c-ap. MILLWALL YOU'RE GOING DOWN!!!!
Scow Posted 12 August 2004 Posted 12 August 2004 Yeah, people were telling us to sit down. They don't realise it was an away game at our local rivals? They should be sitting in the home end if they wanted to watch the football in a quiet, relaxed setting.

Sparky Posted 12 August 2004 Posted 12 August 2004 atmosphere was brilliant , to say we were out sung is 1 big joke
Scow Posted 12 August 2004 Posted 12 August 2004 atmosphere was brilliant , to say we were out sung is 1 big joke 11261[/snapback] Agreed. I thought the atmosphere generated from us was very good from where I was sitting. Derby fans were dire until they scored the goal.
Buzzell Posted 12 August 2004 Posted 12 August 2004 I was listening to the game and after Benji scored all you could here was the Leicester fans singing 'E I E I E I O UP THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE WE GO.....' Fvcking brilliant!

Guest Daniel Posted 12 August 2004 Posted 12 August 2004 Yeah i think he was definatly at a different match, because we went mental all game.
Teeno Posted 12 August 2004 Posted 12 August 2004 It wasn't the best atmosphere I've experianced but it wasn't the worst. We were much better than them. I was a bit frustrated though at being told to sit down, in fairness though they were an older couple and probably weren't as quick to raise to thier feet but what do they expect at a footy match?
Oli Posted 12 August 2004 Posted 12 August 2004 How the hell can you say we were outsung? They were louder than us when they scored thats it. Where we were, we never stopped singing.
Macca4lcfc Posted 13 August 2004 Author Posted 13 August 2004 well where i was they were singing much more when it was a draw, more when they equalised and the only time they sand less was when we were winning. I think some people must have been at a different game. our atmosphere wasonly better when we were winning. how many time were the derby fans singin 'shall we sing a song for you' 'your support is ****ing shit' 'can you hear the leicester sing' etc? the only time they didnt sing it was when we was winning.
Craig Posted 13 August 2004 Posted 13 August 2004 I was sitting just behind Macca and i have to echo what he's saying
Muz Posted 13 August 2004 Posted 13 August 2004 I never heard the Derby fans sing any of that! I must have been in the loud bit!

You and Craig the only ons who disagree. My mum listened to the game oin the radio and she said she could hear us singing for the nearly all the game.
Scow Posted 13 August 2004 Posted 13 August 2004 To be fair to Macca, I think he was sitting right near the Derby fans.
