Guest Basildon Fox Posted 5 May 2009 Posted 5 May 2009 How old is he? According to Wiki he is 33 in September so not young but not old for a keeper either. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kelvin_Davis
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 5 May 2009 Posted 5 May 2009 Every time Kelvin Davis has played at the Walkers he's been amazing. Especially when he was at Ipswich. If we signed him, surely that'd be a good omen? I think you mean AMEN!
act smiley Posted 5 May 2009 Posted 5 May 2009 The kind of years-from-form player I thought we were past going for, no? In that category of 'Experienced but flawed' to my mind, along with Warner et. al.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 5 May 2009 Posted 5 May 2009 My mate is a Southampton fan and he read somewhere that Surman and Davis are willing to take a paycut and stay in league one next season, he isnt the kind of guy to make stuff up although I don't know what his source is.

Ford Super Sunday Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 Yes, apparantly Davis would like to stay, but it is all down to what Soton can offer him. According to a southamption fan, he has been their best player this season, and he argues he is the best goalkeeper in the Championship... maybe the Championship is his level, but hey, thats the league we are in. Either way, please lets not be using 6 goalies this season please!
act smiley Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 Well, if he's back to his best, fair enough but prior to recently, he was so far off the pace it was unreal.

Either way, please lets not be using 6 goalies this season please! That is exactly what I was told! He was very surprised that he was not the Championship keeper of the year. He would be a good signing imo but I can't really see that the club will go bust, no matter how much shite their in and I don't think he will move clubs if he has the chance to stay at Southampton. Fair play to him for that kind of loyalty.
wiggy1975 Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 No to dangerous davies with bells on, oops, he might drop them!!!So we should have him in the bag, then, if we want him. Do we? As well as Stocky D and Mr Punch?
wiggy1975 Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 <_< Oye did you watch sunderland and saints in the last few years? Davies was horrific at sunderland and not much better at saints! Davis would be a very good singing imo. A good keeper, even if his team did just go down.
wiggy1975 Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 I have replied to many who want dangerous davies from saints. thank god there is a sensible supporter on this forum who knows how crap he is - right on agreement with you! No No No No No.....Just No!
