fox123 Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 I'd imagine some on here have had to have one of these. Does anyone know how long an enhanced one takes t' come through? Been accepted for a job in a Psychiatric Hospital, but have been waiting around 5 weeks t' start, getting bored now!

Swear they don't even work either, a lad that started at the same time as me said he'd done community service for possession with intent to, and had no idea how he'd made it through the clearance.

Now will take longer than many times because of the amount of newbie teachers applying ready for posts starting in Sept. I've just applied for about my 12th one in 5 years. Mate of mine recently had hers come through after about 4 weeks. Have you tried calling them to enquire? I've done this a few times and it seems to miraculously appear only a few days later!

Edit to say, thanks for info They must have got worse then, when I needed one a good 10 years ago now, it took two weeks. Is there a way to chase them up I wonder....?
JoeyB Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 My pass at the airport i need a criminal record check. Applied for that on the sunday, got it on the friday. Took it into work on weds, filled in the forms then, pass should be ready next weds. thats 2 1/2 weeks. NHS are real crap
