Aron Gunnarsson to Leicester?

There's more to the contract than we know. Not saying it will happen, but I think it's possible. Fee would be around, what? £2m?

I don't claim to know everything, just that he wants more money and thinks he can do better than Coventry. I'm confident he'll leave - but a Premier League team is more likely.

Well that's down to Coventry as he has two years left on his contract.

agree with most comments here, would luv to have him with us, a lad with potential. Can see cov letting him go but not to city, will go somewere like bolton, stoke west ham etc.

If Pearson is hoping to bring in 6-8 new players, you'd think 3 of them would be 'big uns' and maybe the others smaller buys, kind of like Tunchev last year at 500,000 and Morrison free from Cambridge. It's not unreasonable to spend £2m on one guy, £3m on another etc, if the rest are smaller purchase. Gunnarsson is do-able, not beyond Leicester at all.

Not to mention it would really upset the 10,000 of so fans down the M69, can not remember the last player to move between the two clubs ??

Exactly, would be great!

I wouldn't. There's maybe £10m to spend, and six players. Some could be frees, some around £500,000, a £2m player is quite likely.

And he can, Leicester

Is there.

That's what was mentioned on SSN the other week, not entirely sure how true it is but there you go.

That was what Milan had spent this season.

no, that was the amount of money we lost out on for not being in the championship ( 10mill less income)

Nope, LD3 was right.

I don't think £10m will be spent, it's very irresponsible - Peter Taylor irresponsible!

But there will be more money, this year for sure. One player will cost £1m or more.

how though? the question was 'what has this season in league 1 cost you milan?' he said around 10million pounds which surely means that we have lost out on 10million we would have had if we were in the championship because im sure tv rights etc is massive compared to league 1.

i dont see how a season in league 1 would force us to spend 10million more than in the championship................

does anybody understand what i mean?

what has milan spent 10mill on then? when you get relegated you lose money that you would otherwise recieve if you were in a league above you dont go down and spend more money surely!

I think you are miss interpreting what Milan was asked.

Im sure the drop in TV revenue was like 1-2 million.

Well, Leicester only spent about £700,000 on players. Most of the wages would be covered by tickets, sponsorsship dough and rights, merchendise. Guess a lot of money was spent on keeping the club going, stuff like groundsman, workers, security etc.

£10m is quite feasible, but maybe Milan only spent about £3m but thought he'd big himself up!

i think were all a bit confused i think basically milan had to replace 10 million pounds out of his own pocket which, had we been in the championship, would have been better off. so were all right :)
