AjcW Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 That boy has a long throw no one can match, not even Delap.... and i like his creativity and pace in midfield. Wondering why cov would want to let him go though
Hitesh Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 Didn't we have his brother ? He was rubbish apart from the odd free kick. Nope, we had Arnar Gunnlaugsson
Finchy Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 This can't be true surely? Their best player by miles and there was talk of a few Premiership clubs wanting him few months back.
Stueyt74 Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 Yeahh, I highly doubt this is true. I think this would be more at home on the wishlist.
Ozwin Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 Is he that young one that they were raving over the other month because he scored in the Cup?
AmericanScott Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Is he that young one that they were raving over the other month because he scored in the Cup? Yep.

Salieri Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 I'd be over the moon if we could snap up this lad, but very surprised!
Pricey Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 yeah he's quality, was thinking about how i'd like him here the other day but he is like their best player, and still only 20.
ha77y Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Id love to have him i think he should replace king as king defencivly is poor.
Ultra Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Wikipedia Would be useful backup if the rumours of a move are true. Don't think the sky blues will let it happen though..
AjcW Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 I think this is icelandic media thinking, oooh leicester have had a few icelandic midfielders before and we need a good story etc etc.
General Smuts Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 This is exactly the type of player we need. Someone to keep Gradel nowhere near the first team.
AjcW Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 This is exactly the type of player we need.Someone to keep Gradel nowhere near the first team. HUH!! :s:s
dandannieldanok Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 WikipediaWould be useful backup if the rumours of a move are true. Don't think the sky blues will let it happen though.. Would be a pointless signing if he was to come in just as back-up, he's better than that. You're right though that Cov would never let it happen, they have no reason to sell him, especially to another championship team.
flanimal Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 I think Aron Gunnarsson is very likely. His throw in is awesome, he can lob it 60 yards! If he comes, we may become the new Stoke!
Babylon Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Can't see it happening, no way would they let him go unless it was a stupid bid. And we can't afford a stupid offer for one player!! Maybe it'll be a DJ + cash
Maybes Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Why would Cov let him go...and especially to us. Their fans would be livid. I would sex myself if we got him.
Babylon Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 I think Aron Gunnarsson is very likely. It's highly unlikely, unless MM was in Spain the other day and happened to have a go on Euro millions!!!!
flanimal Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 It's highly unlikely, unless MM was in Spain the other day and happened to have a go on Euro millions!!!! If Coventry can't agree Gunnarsson's termsin his new contract, he won't stay. That's why it's likely.
Babylon Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 If Coventry can't agree Gunnarsson's termsin his new contract, he won't stay. That's why it's likely. He is one year into a three year deal!!!!!
