Imagine 40 people are interested. 20 can do any date except the 6th, but would prefer the 13th, the other 20 can do any date except the 13th and would prefer the sixth. You'd end up with 20 votes for the 6th and 20 votes for the 13th. One of those dates would be chosen. This would be ridiculous though because only 20 people can make it to either date, whereas all 40 can make it to the 20th. If you had a system where you could choose all the dates you can do (or all the dates you can't do) then the 20th would be chosen. That's an extreme example but limiting it to one choice is a stupid way of doing it FINNERS. Anyway, they're all too early for me so I'm out.

C-man Posted 21 May 2009 Posted 21 May 2009 23 is an uncatchable majority, and I'm sure some people who would have preferred the other dates can still make the 13th, so we should probably go for that. Can everyone post in the Teams thread whether or not they can play on that date.
