dandannieldanok Posted 1 June 2009 Posted 1 June 2009 One thing about Weale that doesn't fill me with excitement is that Yeovil finished 17th last season, and conceded 66 goals. I know Weale wasn't in goal for all of those, but how much of that crappy goal difference is down to the keeper or the back four? 17th was an excellent finish for Yeovil, who along with Hereford and Cheltenham were certainly one of the smallest clubs (and still will be) in League One.

Suppose you got a point. I've never watched Weale play, so I can only judge him on the stats - and that one headed goal.
flanimal Posted 1 June 2009 Posted 1 June 2009 If anyone's interested, Weale played 10 games for Yeovil last season. Conceded 9 goals in first 5 games, then kept 5 cleans sheets in a row. Decent I suppose.
Super Arj Posted 1 June 2009 Posted 1 June 2009 i know.. its not easy to concede 9 goals in 5 games.. jeez he must be some player
flanimal Posted 1 June 2009 Posted 1 June 2009 Yeah, takes some doing. Can't argue with 5 clean sheetss, though. If he scores a goal while he's here, all will be forgiven!
