DB11 Posted 12 June 2009 Posted 12 June 2009 Nalis against Leeds. Though there have been a hell of a lot of ones to pick from for the opposition
whitlock Posted 12 June 2009 Posted 12 June 2009 Nalis and Joey's goals were great, so was Howards v Leeds and they probably won't be beaten by my suggestion but Hume v Norwich start of 07/08 season looked better every time I saw it. Marc Nygaard's strike (QPR) v City has to be up there with one of the best against us, I think it was 06/07 season. I dont really appalaud many good goals against us but remmeber clearly doing that when he scored!
StanSP Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 Memories come flooding back of how ecstatic I was when Hignett's stuck his ageing leg to connect to that cross. What a goal. Fucking beauty! Was that the match when Cashley Cole got sent off as well?
Father Ted Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 For celebrations it has to be Howard's vs Leeds. Best goal though, I would have to say was Joey's from the halfway line.
Guest Bilo Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 For us, Nalis against Leeds was absolutely special as was Gudjohnssen's goal against Hull. Oppostion wise, I thought Kuffour's goal for Bristol Rovers was pretty awesome.
DB11 Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 Bristol Rover's goal was very good. I just saw it on the season review
C.J Posted 19 June 2009 Posted 19 June 2009 To whoever posted the stan collymore vid (which has made my day btw), was that the 1st goal of his hattrick? Im pretty sure it was so that gets my vote. For celebration, big Steve against dirty leeds. I havnt lost it celebrating a goal like that in ages. Brings a smile to my face everytime I think about it. Good times.
josh_baskin Posted 19 June 2009 Posted 19 June 2009 NALIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Rooney goal for Everton in th 1-1 draw was quite a screamer too, came from nowhere.
Ultra Posted 20 June 2009 Posted 20 June 2009 Remember that Mabizela rocket for Spurs? Yep. He was an even bigger one-goal wonder than Nalis!
MauriceJobson Posted 20 June 2009 Posted 20 June 2009 Junior Lewis header v Gillingham or the Sheff Weds keepers futile dash after Paul McLaren's backpass as the ball trickled into the net following his fresh air kick. Both in the v early days of the walkers but 2 personal favourites! haha.
