Matt Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 I know there is a betting thread but as this is a 5 day festival, and we have sub-threads for Cheltenham, e.t.c, thought i'd start a new thread, and i'll actually be able to watch a Racing Festival for once, just won't be able to bet as much as I do for the likes of Cheltenham, e.t.c. I've had a look around and see these as hot horses; GLADIATORUS (Queen Anne Stakes, Tuesday) KAYF ARAMIS (Ascot Stakes, Tuesday) VISION D’ETAT (Prince of Wales’s Stakes, Wednesday) YEATS (Gold Cup, Thursday) KING’S APOSTLE (Golden Jubilee, Saturday) Might do a Lucky15 with Gladiatorus, Kayf Aramis, Vision D'Etat, Yeats. Anyone having any bets or got any tips?
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 16 June 2009 Posted 16 June 2009 Scenic Blast in the Kings stand. Not our best sprinter but close too. Backed him at 20's during our spring for a nice race, good horse barrier 15 and not one of my fav jockeys the worry.

Nice. Although if you pick a non - runner you wont get anything back at all.

My picks for today - Not tips, Not advised just my picks which I haven't bet on yet, but probably will are: 2.30 - Gladiatorus (2/1) 3.05 - Tax Free - E/W (10/1) 3.45 - (Not picked yet, Can't decide) 4.20 - Red Jazz (8/1) 4.55 - Keenes Day (8/1) 5.30 - Star Rover (10/1) I picked all those on my own judgement then looked at the tip of Templegate/Tom Pepper and they have picked quite a few of those too though, which could be a bad thing

Looks pretty simple, Just select any amount of horses to the multiple of your choice, 4 horses for the following bets: Yankee 11 x 4-Fold 1 x Trebles 4 x Doubles 6 x Singles 4 x Edit: had a little each way on evasive in 3:45

WARNING to the other guy with this other and anyone else. DON'T include a single in your multiple as part of your £10 - otherwise the bet won't qualify!

That's turned my day's betting round. Spent and lost £6, Won £17. Happy with that, considering I was looking at being down and there is still 4 days to go, not that i'll definitely be betting on all the days.
