welck12 Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 I've just lumped five e/w way on mia's boy and Docofthebay, mostly because the guy in the mirror has called 2 out of the 3 placing horses in everyrace at ascot so far today, and surprise surprise tazeez was the one he got wrong in the last race

Certainly from the start. As for tips, I tend to follow them alot, and don't tend to come of that good, I am slowly starting to ignore tips, and just do my own 'studying'/picking a horse on my own judgement, by the looks of things i'm still no better of doing that though
Matt Posted 17 June 2009 Author Posted 17 June 2009 Docofthebay - Non Runner, Jumped over the stalls almost.
Matt Posted 17 June 2009 Author Posted 17 June 2009 Actually in The Sun they wrote about Mia's Boy and it sounds ok, so i'm gonna have 50p E/W on Mia's Boy, then i'm finished.(12/1) 3rd, So I got it E/W. Oh well, Won't get alot back from that but atleast i've had some form of a win today.

Well he called Mia's Boy, docofhtebay and fogotten voice for the top 3 in this race, so he got another 2 outta 3. I suppose at the ned of the day doesnt matter who you are you pick the horses you like for whatever reason, using someones tips just gives you someone to pass the blame to
dandannieldanok Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 And also £5 e/w on Capercaillie (11/2) in the 16:55. If this doesn't come off I'll have lost the best part of £20 with no return. Please Capercaillie, come through for me.
Matt Posted 17 June 2009 Author Posted 17 June 2009 What can I say, I've got no willpower. Jealous Again - 7/1 50p e/w.
welck12 Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 Lads is being an arse an hasent paid my winnings yet, and thankfully i have the willpower to resist moving more money across, so no bet for me this race
Matt Posted 17 June 2009 Author Posted 17 June 2009 What can I say, I've got no willpower.Jealous Again - 7/1 50p e/w. YESSSSS! Finally. If I hadn't have lost all the races before this i'd have had more than 50p Oh well, that's saved my day's losses. That is an amazing horse, Ran an amazing race, I'm not sure if it will race here to often being an American horse (Anyone know?), but i'll certainly be looking out for it. Great race.
Sparky Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 No more winners since Ouqba at 12s , just got Good again in 530

Shame about the double, but 1st winner of the day, that's around 13 quid back already. Was 4/1 in the paper this morning but I backed it at 9/1 about 1.30pm
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 18 June 2009 Posted 18 June 2009 So far;2.30 - Radiohead - e/w @ 9/1 Double: 2.30 - Monsieur Chevalier. 3.45 - Yeats. It appears everyone has this boy then! He's heavily favourite (7/4) when I placed my punt, lets hope he doesn't let us down! (I note he's in a double for you, but I've seen him mentioned elsewhere as well.) SoccerooAuzzieManPerson - when's this other Auzzie horse running, I can't seem to find him? After reading your kind words for him and his Wikipedia page I fancy backing him.

Hmmmm if i'm honest i'm doubting Yeats, He is a quality horse and won this race 3 times in a row, which why I think 4 might just be abit too much for him, dunno I just feel 3 times a row, the lucks gotta stop somewhere (Despite being a quality horse). I'm think Leocorno for the next race. This is quality, winning on the horse's and my letterbox is like a cash machine today. (It's my birthday and had 100 quid through the letterbox in cards today).
