the_bowman Posted 29 July 2009 Posted 29 July 2009 How do I embed my recently played songs on last.fm into my sig? I've got the code from the website <style type="text/css">table.lfmWidgetchart_8f03ff5395ee87bc7de3c1b13c396c8b td {margin:0 !important;padding:0 !important;border:0 !important;}table.lfmWidgetchart_8f03ff5395ee87bc7de3c1b13c396c8b tr.lfmHead a:hover {background:url(http://cdn.last.fm/widgets/images/en/header/chart/recenttracks_regular_black.png) no-repeat 0 0 !important;}table.lfmWidgetchart_8f03ff5395ee87bc7de3c1b13c396c8b tr.lfmEmbed object {float:left;}table.lfmWidgetchart_8f03ff5395ee87bc7de3c1b13c396c8b tr.lfmFoot td.lfmConfig a:hover {background:url(http://cdn.last.fm/widgets/images/en/footer/black.png) no-repeat 0px 0 !important;;}table.lfmWidgetchart_8f03ff5395ee87bc7de3c1b13c396c8b tr.lfmFoot td.lfmView a:hover {background:url(http://cdn.last.fm/widgets/images/en/footer/black.png) no-repeat -85px 0 !important;}table.lfmWidgetchart_8f03ff5395ee87bc7de3c1b13c396c8b tr.lfmFoot td.lfmPopup a:hover {background:url(http://cdn.last.fm/widgets/images/en/footer/black.png) no-repeat -159px 0 !important;}</style> <table class="lfmWidgetchart_8f03ff5395ee87bc7de3c1b13c396c8b" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" style="width:184px;"><tr class="lfmHead"><td><a title="namwobeht: Recently Listened Tracks" href="http://www.last.fm/user/namwobeht" target="_blank" style="display:block;overflow:hidden;height:20px;width:184px;background:url(http://cdn.last.fm/widgets/images/en/header/chart/recenttracks_regular_black.png) no-repeat 0 -20px;text-decoration:none;border:0;"></a></td></tr><tr class="lfmEmbed"><td><object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://cdn.last.fm/widgets/chart/friends_6.swf" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,0,0" id="lfmEmbed_1588747825" width="184" height="199"> <param name="movie" value="http://cdn.last.fm/widgets/chart/friends_6.swf" /> <param name="flashvars" value="type=recenttracks&user=namwobeht&theme=black&lang=en&widget_id=chart_8f03ff5395ee87bc7de3c1b13c396c8b" /> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /> <param name="allowNetworking" value="all" /> <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /> <param name="quality" value="high" /> <param name="bgcolor" value="000000" /> <param name="wmode" value="transparent" /> <param name="menu" value="true" /> </object></td></tr><tr class="lfmFoot"><td style="background:url(http://cdn.last.fm/widgets/images/footer_bg/black.png) repeat-x 0 0;text-align:right;"><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" style="width:184px;"><tr><td class="lfmConfig"><a href="http://www.last.fm/widgets/?colour=black&chartType=recenttracks&user=namwobeht&chartFriends=1&from=code&widget=chart" title="Get your own widget" target="_blank" style="display:block;overflow:hidden;width:85px;height:20px;float:right;background:url(http://cdn.last.fm/widgets/images/en/footer/black.png) no-repeat 0px -20px;text-decoration:none;border:0;"></a></td><td class="lfmView" style="width:74px;"><a href="http://www.last.fm/user/namwobeht" title="View namwobeht's profile" target="_blank" style="display:block;overflow:hidden;width:74px;height:20px;background:url(http://cdn.last.fm/widgets/images/en/footer/black.png) no-repeat -85px -20px;text-decoration:none;border:0;"></a></td><td class="lfmPopup"style="width:25px;"><a href="http://www.last.fm/widgets/popup/?colour=black&chartType=recenttracks&user=namwobeht&chartFriends=1&from=code&widget=chart&resize=1" title="Load this chart in a pop up" target="_blank" style="display:block;overflow:hidden;width:25px;height:20px;background:url(http://cdn.last.fm/widgets/images/en/footer/black.png) no-repeat -159px -20px;text-decoration:none;border:0;" onclick="window.open(this.href + '&resize=0','lfm_popup','height=299,width=234,resizable=yes,scrollbars=yes'); return false;"></a></td></tr></table></td></tr></table> But can't figure out how to put it in my sig. Thanks!
DB11 Posted 29 July 2009 Posted 29 July 2009 I doubt Mark has enabled that sort of code, as I'll be it could be used to exploit the forum. Eg. put a code that is in the same language into one's signature, which exploits the forum.

Ah right, I must be doing something wrong somewhere though, because I'm sure I've seen it in some other people's sigs? I'll go poke around the last.fm website, see what I can find
the_bowman Posted 29 July 2009 Author Posted 29 July 2009 Case closed :] I found a section of the website with a forum BB code

Libertine Posted 29 July 2009 Posted 29 July 2009 Course you can do it. I had it in mine for the last few weeks.
Asha Posted 30 July 2009 Posted 30 July 2009 You're missing out on an opportunity there. That could be 8 posts in the 'What are you listening to' thread.
lildave3 Posted 30 July 2009 Posted 30 July 2009 You're missing out on an opportunity there. That could be 8 posts in the 'What are you listening to' thread. Missing out, or saving effort? You decide. Actually, don't. It's saving effort.
Joe. Posted 30 July 2009 Posted 30 July 2009 Missing out, or saving effort? You decide.Actually, don't. It's saving effort. Copy the link location of mine and then insert your user id where mine is. Should work then I think.
lildave3 Posted 30 July 2009 Posted 30 July 2009 Copy the link location of mine and then insert your user id where mine is. Should work then I think. So it has.
Joe. Posted 30 July 2009 Posted 30 July 2009 Doesn't seem to want to update mine though, is that common Lib? EDIT: Done it now.
General Smuts Posted 31 July 2009 Posted 31 July 2009 What am i missing? Why can't i see any link location to do mine?
Joe. Posted 31 July 2009 Posted 31 July 2009 What am i missing? Why can't i see any link location to do mine? Right click > Copy image location. Easy. EDIT: I'm using Firefox whether or not that makes any difference. If that doesn't work, Google it.
General Smuts Posted 31 July 2009 Posted 31 July 2009 I've clearly not listened to the same song 20 times in a row.
Jay Posted 31 July 2009 Posted 31 July 2009 it doesn't seem to update very often am I doing something wrong? have just listened to 3 albums and it's not updated at all, shows on my lastfm homepage
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 31 July 2009 Posted 31 July 2009 it doesn't seem to update very often am I doing something wrong? have just listened to 3 albums and it's not updated at all, shows on my lastfm homepage It does take a while to update sometimes.
