acooling08 Posted 7 August 2009 Posted 7 August 2009 Ok i got this free scratch card in PSM magazine at asda earlier and one of the cards has 3 apples. Overall it will cost £9 to call and claim but the lowest prize for 3 matching is £10 to 1 mill. Is it worth calling or is it a scam? Can i actually win anything?
Monk Posted 7 August 2009 Posted 7 August 2009 Personally I learnt the hard way in my teens, and had to pay for the calls... when the pocket calculater to the equivalent standard of a christmas cracker gift appeared in the mail. I do not know anyone who has ever got anything out of these. I'd be interested to hear if anyone has.

Libertine Posted 7 August 2009 Posted 7 August 2009 One way to find out eh! FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!!
lou Posted 7 August 2009 Posted 7 August 2009 usually costs £9-10 quid to call them (it will tell you on the card) and ul probably win a £10 prize......... save the bother and dont call!
billyfox1 Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 If you look on the back you should be able to do it by post. I have done this before and did receive £20 but then you get their shitty junk mail until you move house
MPH Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 another prize givern out is a holiday voucher for 250 quid off a 2,000 quid holiday... scam
Jay Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 On the card it says that 3 matches is a prize win- nothing else. Ranging from £10- £1 million. you pay high call costs and as Monk says get something worth about 50p as a prize that they will say has a rrp of £12.99 like on Bidup tv and all that when you see something so terrible and they give it a crazy retail price about 100 times more expensive than you can actually buy it for. You never get anything for free, if it looks to good to be true then it probably is and any number of other sayings spring to mind

Buy 50 of the same magazines - you will win EVERY TIME! I always scratch off the free ones for a laugh and not once have I failed to win the 'gold prize'.
