Fox92 Posted 7 August 2009 Posted 7 August 2009 I do it every season. Never had a win, but here goes:Prem: Chelski Champs: WBA League One: Dirty Leeds League Two: Rotherham Utd £20 Good bet that. Agree with Chelsea, Leeds and Rotherham although I think I may have gone for Middlesborough ahead of West Brom. Then again, in the studio, Kevin Phillips, Neil Warnock and Peter Beagrie have all gone for West Brom and Kevin Phillips, being a Sunderland favourite, has not picked Newcastle for automatic or play offs
Matt Posted 7 August 2009 Posted 7 August 2009 http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.ph...;hl=season+bets I have changed mine from that post in the that thread though. Mine is Man Utd, WBA, Leeds, Shrewsbury I think.

Can't see them getting enough shots off to get anywhere near the top 2. Admittedly Alves not in this evening but he's still unproven to be honest. Thought Sheff U looked very combative. Play Offs for them again I reckon. We'll see.
Bryn Posted 7 August 2009 Posted 7 August 2009 I fancy Liverpool, West Brom, Norwich and... not sure about L2.
Wilkesy Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Ive gone for: Chelsea Sheff Utd Leeds Notts County Oxford

Yes agreed I have changed my mind completely after watching the full 90minutes of the game I picked Middlesborough because of the squad and they haven't lost any key players really apart from Downing where as Newcastle have lost Owen, Martins and this morning Beye as well and West Brom have sold Robinson and there are a few clubs sniffing around essential players like Greening etc. Of course, after watching the match yesterday night, Middlesbrough will not go up as they wont score enough goals and the only threats against Sheffield United came via Yeates and Johnson who are two wingers which really says it all so they'll most probably struggle although Tuncay was out. Alvez is leaving as well apparently so Didn't opt for WBA because I didn't feel comfortable with Cox and Reid who are both unproven at this level although if you look at their record they may be real good signings.
