Granno Posted 21 September 2009 Posted 21 September 2009 Well as i'm on Coach 1, I told the fan in charge of the coach that I didn't mind bringing some classic season reviews on DVD (91/92, 92/93, 93/94, 94/95, 95/96, 96/97, 97/98, 99/00, 00/01, 01/02) in a spindle for them to choose, he said to bring them, so I shall. Good man. Can't bear ANOTHER showing of last years.

Damn it, im on coach 2. The journey is going to be really long so it'd be good to watch something

syston_fox Posted 21 September 2009 Posted 21 September 2009 Sleep is YOUR friend on every journey! I do like a good nap it has to be said. You found a way of getting there yet?
lildave3 Posted 21 September 2009 Posted 21 September 2009 I do like a good nap it has to be said. You found a way of getting there yet? There's the way that Tommy/C-Man suggested, but i'm still hoping I can wangle a lift somehow. Doubtful.
clazkel Posted 21 September 2009 Posted 21 September 2009 Sleep is your friend on a journey like this. Tell me about it, its the only hope ive got to make the journey without going insane
syston_fox Posted 21 September 2009 Posted 21 September 2009 There's the way that Tommy/C-Man suggested, but i'm still hoping I can wangle a lift somehow. Doubtful. To be honest, I doubt you will be missing much. That Southampton midweek game with the infamous FIFA she-male springs to mind when I think of this trip.

syston_fox Posted 21 September 2009 Posted 21 September 2009 New ground is what I think of.I meant the lift wangle was doubtful New ground is the only reason for me going. One more to cross off the 92 and all that. Must be someone going from Leicester you can jump in with if FT is out the question.
Russell352 Posted 21 September 2009 Posted 21 September 2009 Anyone know of any decent pubs in 'boro to congregate in before the game? + is anyone out on the piss after!? I'm guessing it's freshers week/month/year or however long it is now at Teeside Uni so I suppose a few bars may be busy, if not the Union could be.
Bert Posted 21 September 2009 Posted 21 September 2009 There's the way that Tommy/C-Man suggested, but i'm still hoping I can wangle a lift somehow. Doubtful. Fingers crossed.

Im always happy to give ppl a lift but wont be offended if they dont feel comfortable with accepting it EDIT thats directed at LD3

Bert Posted 21 September 2009 Posted 21 September 2009 Something in the pipeline Bert? No my friend, I was crossing my fingers that you come up with something for us, I'm useless at the minute!
lildave3 Posted 21 September 2009 Posted 21 September 2009 No my friend, I was crossing my fingers that you come up with something for us, I'm useless at the minute! Ah right, well i'm trying!
Bert Posted 21 September 2009 Posted 21 September 2009 Ah right, well i'm trying! Me too, but to pretty much no avail.
Ozwin Posted 21 September 2009 Posted 21 September 2009 I wouldn't mind going to this but the Newcastle game was a bit of a killer travel wise so I'll probably pass. Fair play to everyone going though.
Tommeh Posted 22 September 2009 Posted 22 September 2009 Bert and Ben ..... still extremely welcome to stay at mine or C-mans. Think trains are rolling out at £14 rtn with railcard/u16's. Plus 5 for James' fuel. So same price as ft I'd imagine. Got a Wednesday fan coming with us all being well. If you two don't fancy it I'm calling Damo

Tommeh Posted 22 September 2009 Posted 22 September 2009 Get a decent haircut and we might be talking. There's your offer withdrawn. Mouthy Tudor road scum.
Bluefoxtim Posted 22 September 2009 Posted 22 September 2009 Flipping hell. Getting a couple of under 18 tickets over the phone was pretty painful!!! God knows why I said I was a ST holder, made it so much more difficult!... "Is one of these tickets for you?" (My ST is U22!!!) "errrrmmm....no" "Can I have the name of the second person and the address" (She is over 18 and will be on the database!!!)"I don't know the address, I'm buying them for some friends" I feel very naughty, but still, £26 is a still a lot considering the 987648934 hour coach journey to a crap ground midweek!
