Just had a chat with Pat McConnell.

She is meeting with Birchenall and other people in the club next week to discuss the idea. Apparently someone else has suggested doing a very similar thing and there are also a couple of other related ideas that need to be discussed.

She's going to call me back next week. Bit of a concern knowing there's "competition" out there but I did try to stress that we have nearly 50 people on here as well as a few on Talking Balls that are up for it and so we are well on the way with getting a successful run together.

I'll post another update once I hear back. In the meantime if you haven't already signed up... why not?!

Nice work James. I'm amazed that the 125 places didn't fill very quickly. It seems like a great opportunity that those who take part wouldn't forget in a hurry. Can't see why the club would say no - they would be turning down at least 5k for LOROS by doing so.
