Cant be fair??? And obviously it was my mistake for announcing what song I had chosen but its allowed someone to make it a tie.

FilboFox Posted 26 October 2009 Author Posted 26 October 2009 OK, I've just checked and Emilio Lestavez chose the losing song so unfortunately is out of the competition. Thanks for taking part. So as it stands, AoWW, Libertine and myself have all lost one act whilst NSLL still has all of his acts!

And for all those who haven't got their songs in yet, would you please do so as soon as possible as the deadline is midnight tonight and if you haven't submitted your song by then, your mentor will choose one for you! I am pretty sure this applies to only two people right now so thank you to all those who have got their songs in, it's just we do want to have all the songs in.

FilboFox Posted 2 November 2009 Author Posted 2 November 2009 Well there we have it... some odd voting this week but Lynyrd Skynyrd's song Free Bird has fallen and with it, Fox You Forest leaves the competition. As per usual, there has been some controversy over what can be classed as rock and what can't but it is such a vast genre that a lot can cover it so I can't say that any of the songs weren't in some way linked to rock. Maybe next year I won't have a rock week to stop the confusion, but as you saw in the X Factor, even they can't agree. Next week is Number 1's Hits week! This means ANY song that made it to number 1 in the UK charts and the UK charts alone! Get your songs in ASAP as I'm sure some will go fast!

Judging by this weeks voting, nobody is safe in picking a song that they think is a massive hit that everyone will vote for. Some long, hard, concentrated thinking is needed to choose the best songs for this week as there are so many options. Good luck to everyone that's left in.
