MC Prussian Posted 2 October 2009 Posted 2 October 2009 Yes, you can leave the three points at the entry door to the Ricoh. Thank you.

covlad Posted 2 October 2009 Author Posted 2 October 2009 Almost as many fans as you'll have there...at your own ground? Not really, in total 21000 sold....that includes you but with a walk up of 3000 should be a good un.
StanSP Posted 2 October 2009 Posted 2 October 2009 Not really, in total 21000 sold....that includes you but with a walk up of 3000 should be a good un. Make the most of it. You've never had a crowd so big. Bring some earplugs. City fans will make noise like you've never heard.

No we dont get massive crowds but we also charge kids to get in unlike yourselves. We outsing you always...... the away end will be like a wake come 12:30. Do you not find with such a big following, all the anticipation etc, it creates more negativity? Example : you go 1 nil down, instead of your usual away following of 800 getting on the players backs you'll have 5,000 doing it which in turn escalates to the players on the pitch.

They're here, They're There, They're every fucking where, Empty Seats, Empty Seats. What will this be then? You're 2nd highest attendance at the Ricoh? 2nd to the Chelsea game? P.s - When we've played you in the past you've claimed there has been an attendance of 20 odd thousand, When there hasn't been any more than 16,000 there I know!
covlad Posted 2 October 2009 Author Posted 2 October 2009 we dont see you as a big game, last two times wolves have been here its been 28000 Same with Brum and the Baggies, 27000. Yep, our ground is too big for us but it is considerably better with more character than that hovel you call the crisp bowl....sorry, walkers.

Yes, which is what makes Cov away one of the worst away games of the season, Hence if you look in the tickets and travel forum and the Cov thread the most used word is probably "******"...along with you're shite atmosphere, shite stadium (Although all new grounds are shite - Including ours), lack of Cov fans = lack of banter, e.t.c.

I had noticed that word used a few times.... so your saying that your own fans are the ******?

Our atmoshphere is never great, but Coventry Don't even get me started, atleast we actually have fans at games!
Matt Posted 2 October 2009 Posted 2 October 2009 I had noticed that word used a few times.... so your saying that your own fans are the ******? Not all. Every clubs has them. In Cov's case, More rather than less though.
covlad Posted 2 October 2009 Author Posted 2 October 2009 well we have plenty of ****** and there usually the 16 year old twats who think there hard as nails who also like to hide behind stewards.

YEP BECAUSE 25% OF YOUR FANS GET IN FREE!!!!! Now if we were to do that we'd have an average of 28000.
C-man Posted 2 October 2009 Posted 2 October 2009 A lot of shit banter in this thread. Shame for covlad 'cos he's not had much to get his teeth stuck into.

Budweiser Posted 2 October 2009 Posted 2 October 2009 I thought exactly the same. Just sounds like a terrible quote
covlad Posted 2 October 2009 Author Posted 2 October 2009 Was hoping for some real banter but in typical incestor fashion no ones up for it

StanSP Posted 2 October 2009 Posted 2 October 2009 I thought exactly the same.Just sounds like a terrible quote It wasn't meant to be taken literally <_< Either way, we'll still make more noise than Cov.
