Tommeh Posted 2 October 2009 Posted 2 October 2009 True story coming up: Last night, dozing off probably 2am, got a knock on my window and noises "is this the leicester fan" anyway I had a glimse and called the guy back he said "I'm cov mate" actually thinking I'd be bothered. Then he found it amazing that I wasn't going to watch them "batter us off and on the pitch" on saturday THEN invited me out for a drink Monday night to celebrate their win. Undecided on that one he could be a decent guy but just has terrible banter. Unfortunatly this time our side have actually bigged up this game the "covscum away" title and huge anticipation I've seen on facebook from stone island wannabes. I'll put my neck on the line and say that 40% of our support tomorrow will make less than 2 away trips this season and also that alot of our most loyal and passionate fans (and I know a few) won't go purely because they know how shite it is over there. Absolute nothing club to me. I hate Stoke, Forest, Derby and really couldn't give a shite how those 3 feel about us. This whole rivallry is completely non existant and seems to have been exploded by a small ruck 2 years ago.

I mean seriously.Their scummy 16 year olds will get what's coming to them one day, they're the only thing I dislike about Coventry the club. That and their shit flatpack stadium. I agree wholeheartedly with this statement. The idea of this "M69 derby" is a load of bollocks concocted by the press/Sky Sports/the Highways Agency to try and sell more newspapers/TV subscriptions/motorway signs. 26th fiercest rivalry in England? I've played in fiercer Primary School derbies in Harborough. Derby County up next after this lot, now there's a genuine rivalry.

Hate Forest more then Cov. Just thought the big East Midlands derby was Forest Derby. Alot of people say they hate the new Stadiums but Pride Park is a good away day.
