Flynny Posted 15 October 2009 Posted 15 October 2009 Made 50 quid tonight betting mostly on nailed on wins. Score. Italy nearly gave me a heart attack when I heard they were 2-0 down, mind.
MC Prussian Posted 15 October 2009 Posted 15 October 2009 Uruguay now face Costa Rica away first on Nov 14th for a two-leg playoff mode to decide on the final WC 2010 participant from Middle/South America.
placidcasual Posted 15 October 2009 Posted 15 October 2009 Honduran radio when the USA equalised in the 94th minute to send them through instead of the play offs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tL-Wfs1ZjU

Go Costa Rica for 2 reasons Uruguay are cheating dirty scum, we got stuck playing off with them last 2 world cup qualifiers. 2nd Reason the mighty Carlos Hernadez at the world Cup would be immense.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 Aussies had Asia Cup qualifiers and just beat a surprisingly technically and quick Oman side 1 nil. Thanks to Super Timmy Cahill.
ACF Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 The Socceroos were crap though. Was not impressed with Kennedy, but perhaps it was his role though.
leicesterfox86 Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 What did we make about Beckham getting the man-of-the-match award on Wednesday? Seems a bit ridiculous to me. He was OK, but surely Crouch should have got it? I was really impressed with him. This football blogger talks about his chances of making the World Cup and I really hope he does get the nod. The only thing is though, will he be able to take Heskey and Crouch? It is a difficult one! Crouch's scoring record is excellent, but Heskey has done well alongside Rooney! Thoughts?

I'll lose all respect for Capello if Crouch doesn't get picked for the WC squad.
