Fox You Forest Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009 What's Paul O Grady doing in the studio.
Fox You Forest Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009 Brilliant, the managers are at it now. This is quiet entertaining.
Fox You Forest Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009 Little bit of snooker mixed in, I like it.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009 that penalty was massive! hopefully our goal difference will be enough to see us into the world cup, not going to go over board just yet but for us not to go to the world cup Egypt need to beat us by 3 goals in Cairo on the 15th of november VIVA L'ALGERIE!!!!
Budweiser Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009 half time Algeria 2 Rwanda 1had a goal disallowed that that was 2 foot into the net Belhadj scored our second as well, reppin' the prem in Africa and just after Algeria's first goal the game was interupted for 5 minutes for the call to pray! been one of the best games i've seen on tv/laptop for a while
LCFC-ARAB Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009  it was streamed off an Algerian tv channel so it's probably normal business for them
Edmund Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009 it was streamed off an Algerian tv channel so it's probably normal business for them Oh right, I thought you meant the game was physically stopped for five minutes.
lildave3 Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009 Oh right, I thought you meant the game was physically stopped for five minutes. So did I
LCFC-ARAB Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009 Oh right, I thought you meant the game was physically stopped for five minutes. yeah i was half expecting it to cut back to the game and all the players are on their pray mats in the middle of the pitch!
LCFC-ARAB Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009 Just a question for anybody who can answer really..... i've just worked it out that if Egypt beat us 2 nil in the final game, we will have the exact same points, exact same goal difference, exact same goals scored and goals conceeded we beat them 3-1 in Algeria and i really have no idea who would go through? any ideas??

Not to sure mate but im sure it goes down to results against each other. So at present unless Egypt beat you by more you should go through if things stay the same. Not sure what would happen if they beat you 3-1 though. Is it only the top teams from each group that qualify in Africa? Is there any playoffs? I see Nigeria languishing in second behind Tunisia. We always have a good track record of qualifying. Anyone see that matey come and run on the pitch in the Brazil match.

So 5 teams from Africa will be in the World Cup cause South Africa get in cause their hosting.

Well it doesn't look to good for them. They have to win and hope Tunisia lose or draw but I doubt Tunisia will lose. Don't know what has happened to the super eagles in recent years. This will be the second successive world cup we haven't qualified for if they fail when once upon a time we and Cameroon were the only African football teams who had a chance of any success at the World cup.

Coin toss, penalty shoot out, or playoff decider would be my best bets. Don't worry, it won't happen anyway. Viva l'Algerie!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 New Zealand might make the World Cup!!!!!
StanSP Posted 13 October 2009 Author Posted 13 October 2009 New Zealand might make the World Cup!!!!! How good are they?? And I think they're playing Bahrain. Have no idea how good they are
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 New Zealand are shocking. Bahrain aren't that great but at home they are probably a two goal better side I think we only won with a 93rd minute goal playing in Bahrain.
CosbehFox Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 How good are they?? Absolute dog on the recent showing in the Confederations Cup.
Sparky Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 Going to the Belerus game tomorrow , bit of a trip/piss up put on by the Foresters Arms and leaving Leicester at 10 so could get messy. Hope we can finish a succesful campaign on a high
Jordan Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 USA striker Charlie Davies is in the hospital today after being involved in a fatal one-car accident late last night/early this morning. One passenger, a young woman, is dead while Davies is reportedly in surgery for internal injuries and a broken leg. Davies' injuries are possibly career-threatening, but based on the photos of the SUV--completely smashed and torn in half--he's extremely lucky they're not life-threatening. Horrible news.

Horrible news. Shocking news. Real talented prospect. Sounds like the poor guy might of lost his girlfriend/sister in this accident too which will be devastating for him on top of his injuries. Good luck to him, hope he recovers, ive seen him play a few times this season(Online), talented lad.
BoneDog Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Anyone watching Bosnia v Spain on LiverpoolFCTV? Not bad so far (apart from Spains kit)
MC Prussian Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Nail-biting last qualifying round. Still through to South Africa at the moment by holding a meagre 0-0 against Israel, whilst Greece is giving Luxembourg a pounding. Oh, and Germany's equalizer at home against Finland was a joke. Poor reward for a fantastic Finland squad.
