trevor benjamin Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 do you think it would be worth in trying to bring in some quality young premiership players on loan next season? im thinkin tom huddlestone at tottenham or dexton blackstock at southampton? what do u think? would robbie blake also be worth lookin at as he doesnt seem to be figuring much at birmingham??
Ric Flair Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 For f u c k sake how many times do we have to say it. Levein has already said a million times he won't ever sign anybody onloan unless it's with a view to a permanent deal. So bear that in mind please.

Steven Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 Calm down mate, he's a noob. 107332 Agreed. Fair criticism but over the top.
Ric Flair Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 Fed up of this surge of horrible posters on here who couldn't string more than a couple of 'proper' words together. Bury them alive.
Steven Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 I am no fan of text speak , but in fairness the original post was coherent. I feel your frustration Hoof, but surely we should be trying to encourage posters (and if necessary politely correct them) not scare them away.

Anybody who uses text speak and doesn't seem to have any thought process when posting is capable of murder if you ask me.
Ric Flair Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 I was joking by the way, but I hate text speak and please think before you post otherwise they'll be deleted.

lee_morris_27 Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 why wont craig levein sign a player on loan because we cannot afford to sign most young players in the premiership so the least he could do is loan them to leicester and give them 1st team action what do you say
Nationwider Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 why wont craig levein sign a player on loan because we cannot afford to sign most young players in the premiership so the least he could do is loan them to leicester and give them 1st team action what do you say 107438 His reasoning (which is correct) is that all he would be doing is training and giving experience to another club's player at a cost to City (in wages, and the loss of opportunity for one of our own young players). Caps lock is on the left of the keyboard. Full-stop is on the right.
Frenzied Posted 12 May 2005 Posted 12 May 2005 It ought to be added that getting players in on loan doesn't fit in with Levein's plans to make the players associate themselves more with the club and city. This is a long-term policy of building a club that is capable of getting into the Premiership and staying there.
