dandannieldanok Posted 9 January 2010 Posted 9 January 2010 Another cracking Lakeside spectacle, brilliant match. My Mum's just rang me, she's oddly watching the darts. Anyway apparently Martin Adams' son is in the crowd wearing a Leicester Tigers shirt. I know he's a Londoner, but has he got any connection with Leicester? Or is his son just the rugby version of a glory supporter? Probably a glory supporter although I don't know.
BoneDog Posted 10 January 2010 Posted 10 January 2010 I'm just about crying. Missed the last two quarters last night and missed both semis today cos of family commitments. I don't know the results but I take it Chisnall beat O'Shea! Unbelievable Jeff Really can't believe I had to miss it, I would of been buzzin watching that. Chisnall is my new hero. He's took over from Hugo Chavez, only just mind.

EDIT: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/other_spor...rts/8450139.stm - half way down the page shows last two legs
Part Of The Crowd Posted 10 January 2010 Posted 10 January 2010 Come on Chisnall! Broke Adams' set to make it 3 - 1, if he holds this set then he'll go in at the break only 1 set behind after missing some crucial doubles.
CosbehFox Posted 10 January 2010 Posted 10 January 2010 Adams 6-5. Chisnall needs to be losing before getting his arse into gear.
Maybes Posted 10 January 2010 Posted 10 January 2010 Chisnell just couldnt pull out a finish when he needed it most. Mr Consistent got his due rewards.

The last leg was class. I've just found the whole semi on iplayer so I might watch the lot tomorrow. Gutted Chisnall didn't win the final but fair plat to Adams. It was another great final at Lakeside. Will Chisnall get an offer from the PDC? I hope he stays at BDO for at least a few more years
Part Of The Crowd Posted 10 January 2010 Posted 10 January 2010 Say what you want about the BDO but you will not see many finer matches than that.
Uncle Albert Posted 11 January 2010 Posted 11 January 2010 I only seen yesterday that if you get a 9 darter in the BDO you win £52,000 they probably know the chances of someone hitting one on so slim. Fairplay to Chizzy Rascal - he'll have another year at the Lakeside then go across to the PDC, should expect Scott Waites to move across aswell anytime soon.
dandannieldanok Posted 11 January 2010 Posted 11 January 2010 Another cracking Lakeside final, Adams just held it together at the vital times. Chisnall just lacked a bit of consistency at crucial times but once again he showed real bottle to come back after the break. Loved Adams' 170 finish.
Sparky Posted 11 January 2010 Posted 11 January 2010 Gonna get some tickets this week for the Premier League meeting in Notts in May
Uncle Albert Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Gonna get some tickets this week for the Premier League meeting in Notts in May How much are tickets mate for the tables? Me and a couple of mates are looking to go.
BoneDog Posted 29 December 2010 Posted 29 December 2010 The Pie Man is on fire. Beautiful 140 finish for the first leg. Whitlock was awesome the other day. If he keeps that form up he'll be almost unbeatable. Tons of perfect arrows.
BoneDog Posted 29 December 2010 Posted 29 December 2010 Oh Pie Man what a finish - 121 treble 20, 25, double 18
ScouseFox Posted 29 December 2010 Posted 29 December 2010 Aye, the wizard of oz was superb, ton plus finishes galore to go with him hitting 180s for fun, not many people will beat him if he's on form.
ScouseFox Posted 29 December 2010 Posted 29 December 2010 The Power needs to get his act together, only 4 maximums all tournement, not himself. Hoping he beats Wright purely because of Wright's hair, the idiot.
BoneDog Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 Yeah I thought the hair was a hat when I first saw it! He looked like an extra out of the alien bar in Total Recall.
I am Rod Hull Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 Was a good game Taylor and Wright, never a 4-1 imo.
BoneDog Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 Missed this afternoons action. Whitlock's just gone out He got a great chance to even up at 3-3, had 6 darts to finish 81 and didn't do it. Hoping for a Terry Jenkins win now. If not him, then hopefully it's Anderson or Suljovic.
Finchy Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 Na na na na na na na naaa Vincent Van Der Voort, Van Der Voort, Vincent Van Der Voorttttt
ScouseFox Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 Whitlock Barney Army it is then, another 9 darter this year
