DJhinckley Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 not strictly about Leicester City, but is to the benefit of Leicester City Season Ticket Holders, so thought I'd post it here to get widest audience. Will understand if the mods want to move thread to 'general sport' there are no 'proper' games on New Years Day and only the 'tinpot' clubs are playing. You will obviously be playing in the FA Cup on teh saturday, which now Hinckley are knocked out is quite clearly a monkey cup anyway <_< sooooooooo, Hinckley United are offering a discount on entrance cost for our New Year Day game to Championship, Football League or Premiership Season Ticket Holders. http://www.hinckleyunited.com/news/New-year-new-team-.html it normally costs £9 and £6 for Adults and Concessions, but if you show your Season Ticket at the gate then you can get into Hinckley's match for £5 Adults and Concessions. U16's are £3 and kids under 12 are free. yes, it's obviously a scheme to get some more fans through the gates, but it's a discount nonethless if some of you were thinking about going to a game on New Years Day. I will go and ruin it now by telling you we are playing Solihull Moors though we have just beaten them 4-2 on their own turf on boxing day, so a possibility of more goals to come in the return match on NYD
john_lcfc Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 great stuff. For me its either this or Unibond Shepshed dynamo v Shepshed Dynamo. Undecided.
DJhinckley Posted 1 January 2010 Author Posted 1 January 2010 if you're interested, at moment it's game on http://www.hinckleyunited.com/news/10am … me-on.html the dodgy areas where the sun doesn't get was covered overnight and is ok this morning. the rest is frozen on top, but 'takes a key' and is thawing nicely.
DJhinckley Posted 1 January 2010 Author Posted 1 January 2010 scratch that, ref has just lost his bottle... http://www.hinckleyunited.com/news/Match-off-305.html match ref has now declared pitch unplayable.
