Personally I think the defence more or less picks itself although you could make a strong case for Taggart ahead of Kisnorbo.

Midfield is Izzet plus three from anywhere else please Carol. I can't think of anyone. Gudjonsson's not getting in it.

Dickov for 20 goals when we got promoted in 02/03. I don't think Hume deserves to be in it personally.

Any thoughts? I want to write a thing for the Merc about it but I can't help thinking I'm missing somebody?

Tough one Fez really , struggled to find the criteria for selection. For example Piper was quality for a season where as Oakley has maybe been average for 2 if you get what im saying. I suppose Dickov is unlucky to miss out to Ferdinand but on a personal note i thought Sir Les was excellent for us. As Katy says i suppose Lennon should be in really

Probably not actually but I just went for the best players I remember in the past decade. There will certainly be better servants to the club than some of the players I've picked I must admit.
