Matt Posted 18 January 2010 Posted 18 January 2010 Not gotta problem with 'smarmy' O'Sullivan, I'm a huge fan of his, Gotta admire him, and I like his personality, attitude, e.t.c. I wanted Selby to win more last night, but I do like O'Sullivan. My 2 favourite Snooker players.

My 2 favourite Snooker players. Brilliant snooker player. I have a bit of an insight into the snooker world, and they don't tend to like someone behaving like Ronnie does, but only because he's top of the class that he gets away with it. Come unstuck though when he tried to pot the green left handed and missed badly, he should never have given Mark another shot.
Bert Posted 18 January 2010 Posted 18 January 2010 Pretty shit nickname compared to Rocket himself, and Whirlwind for Jimmy White etc... Well not really It rhymes and it's pretty true that he likes a joke.
lou Posted 18 January 2010 Posted 18 January 2010 I like it! Anyway doesnt matter what they call him, when hes as good as he is nothing is gonna be embarrassing as far as Im concerned
Matt Posted 18 January 2010 Posted 18 January 2010 Just gutted I didn't bet on Selby to win at 9-6, As shown in my post I didn't really think Selby had any chance of coming back when it went 9-6, and I didn't check the odds out, but I would have thought they would have been very good - I did consider it very briefly but briefly was all it was.
Big Ol' Bob Posted 18 January 2010 Posted 18 January 2010 It was John Virgo that first called Selby the "Jester from Leicester" and Mark decided to stick with it. His old nickname was "Mark the Shark".........
