Fox92 Posted 16 January 2010 Posted 16 January 2010 Torres injured again then, apparently. In normal work, the amount of times he is 'sick' you have a verbal warning. He is leaving but so be it, he doesn't seem bothered anymore.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 16 January 2010 Posted 16 January 2010 Babel for one is not average, he's a player with excellent potential whose confidence has been shattered at Liverpool. At a fair few clubs, he'd be a player and half. Agger's another whose got dragged down by him. Still think Babel does have the potential, definitely. He's just been horribly mismanaged. If Rafa Benitez was called Richard Bennett, he would have been sacked long long ago. !
SystonFox Posted 16 January 2010 Posted 16 January 2010 Still think Babel does have the potential, definitely. He's just been horribly mismanaged. ! im convinced Babel is the next Thierry Henry. he just isnt going in the right direction at Lpool, they would never sell him to a big club so he will probably end up being a shining star at Sunderland / Brum / Fulham but never winning anything.
dandannieldanok Posted 16 January 2010 Posted 16 January 2010 It's like Sam Allardyce said if his name was Sam Allarcini he would have been praised massively more for his managerial achievements. Did he seriously say that?!? I've always disliked the bloke but if this is true then it takes it to a whole new level.
Ultra Posted 16 January 2010 Posted 16 January 2010 Love that letter in the same Guardian column"To every Liverpool fan I grew up with, even though I grew up in the East ruddy Midlands; to every Liverpool fan I met at university, even though you'd just come from Lowestoft, or somesuch place; to every Liverpool fan commuting in from some hole like Hatfield to your job in London: this is what it's like to support a team. Rubbish players, rubbish manager, stupid board, no cups. It's not novel, it's not interesting, the rest of us know all about it. Get over it or, alternatively, find out who's winning everything, and go and support them. That's how you chose your current team in 1980 after all, isn't it?" - Jon Millard. So true...
Ultra Posted 16 January 2010 Posted 16 January 2010 Did he seriously say that?!? I've always disliked the bloke but if this is true then it takes it to a whole new level. I thought it was Sam Allardicio myself. But, hey, what trophies has big Sam ever won?
