Ozwin Posted 9 March 2010 Posted 9 March 2010 There's teams that have played 34 games like us yet they're playing tonight. I'd really like to get the Wednesday loss off our backs and get onto that winning feeling again. It's not fair!

I'd really like to get the Wednesday loss off our backs and get onto that winning feeling again. It's not fair! Some teams have 2 games in hand, We have 1 game in hand v Cardiff (A), that game is being played later this month, the teams with 2 games in hand are playing 1 of those tonight (I think.) Edit; Ok, just checked not all teams who are playing tonight have 2 games in hand but they have atleast 1 game in hand, so those games are being played tonight, Cardiff have 2 games in hand 1 v Ipswich that they are playing tonight, and 1 v Us which as said is being played later this month.

Cardiff are playing Ipswich in another of their games in hand, so we obviously can't play them tonight. I presume that's what it is.
Ozwin Posted 9 March 2010 Author Posted 9 March 2010 Ah makes sense I suppose. Shame though, doesn't feel right not playing when everyone else is

maddog Posted 9 March 2010 Posted 9 March 2010 I think tonight will be more profitable for us with us not playing. With Cardiff, Sheffield United and Swansea all playing away tonight, we can sit back, relax and watch the points being dropped.

Lets hope this is the case, Loss for Cardiff tonight please. Edit: Love to the person that made me -1 too! <3
Anish Posted 9 March 2010 Posted 9 March 2010 Shame about Swansea winning but at least Sheff Utd and Cardiff lost. It looks like 5th/6th are the only positions up for grabs now, which puts a bit more pressure on us.
Ozwin Posted 9 March 2010 Author Posted 9 March 2010 Nah, still loads of games to play. It aint over till it's over.
Corky Posted 9 March 2010 Posted 9 March 2010 Not too bad a night really. A win on Saturday would boost our chances immensely.
Guest Bilo Posted 9 March 2010 Posted 9 March 2010 Sheffield United and Cardiff results going our way are good to see, shame about Swansea but I have a feeling their lack of goals will cost them towards the arse end of the season. If we can get a result against Cardiff on Saturday then our play-off position will look even more healthy. Pleased with the results this evening.
Guest DavidJCW Posted 9 March 2010 Posted 9 March 2010 Great set of results for us tonight! If we get a win on Saturday vs Cardiff and others slip up in difficult games, we could really see ourselves firmly embedded in this play-off zone!

If we win our game in hand we'll be just 2 points behind Swansea! 4th is more than achievable and possibly even 3rd if we can go on a good run.
