Spencer Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 Great day? Pipe down. Adidas kits are by and large fucking horrendous. We'd end up with one of those toss generic templates that the likes of Plymouth and Middlesbrough have got. Far rather have a smaller company who give you a bit more freedom to make a more unique kit. Great occasion, not day, pipe down. Even if we did get a generic Adidas or Nike kit, no-one would be saying bring back Joma or Jako, the bigger companies make the most aesthetically pleasing kits, prove me wrong otherwise? I can't recall seeing a kit not made by the bigger brands that was beaut.

Nikes attempt for Leeds a few years back wasn't much better. And another vomit inducing one from Adidas. Umbros nasty looking one for the trees. Yep lets get a big brand to make them, they do it so well.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 Maybe I just hate yellow kits but You're severely retarded if you hate this:
Jimothy Posted 28 March 2010 Posted 28 March 2010 You're severely retarded if you hate this: Fair point, that is nice. The other 4 are hideous though.
Floating Fox Posted 29 March 2010 Posted 29 March 2010 Heres to hoping we get a good shirt maker next year. I know I'll probably get a lot of stick for it, but the day we get a Nike, Adidas or Puma sponsoring us, will be a great occasion. Not like the ill-fitting, cheap crap that we have to wear now! Mongtacular! I bet your one of these people that won't by the shirt because "the sponser is crap"... How ridic.
leicesterfox86 Posted 29 March 2010 Posted 29 March 2010 I quite like the Norwich one - is it actually a new one though?!
Guest Bilo Posted 29 March 2010 Posted 29 March 2010 I genuinely don't know how anyone can complain about our kit this season. Home kit is beautifully simple and unfussy, feels like a quality product and fits nicely. Compare that to the overstyled, poor quality and horribly fitting Jako efforts. It's instantly recognisable as 'ours', but in a good way. Just like the beautiful Fox Leisure kit that Unit posted. I must admit I hated the away shirt when I first saw it, but it's really grown on me. The colours are uniquely Leicester, black away shirts are common but only we have the blue sash. Only a red away shirt or a revival of the green one would have been a finer nod to our history. You can guarantee none of this would have been the case if we'd plumped for adidas. We'd have looked like Peterborough or Macclesfield at home, and any number of lower league sides that happen to use the same kit manufacturer away. With many of these teams, you have to look at the badge to work out which team the kit belongs to. Not exactly a great occasion. Personally, I'd be happy to stick with Joma for the time being. I'd only be remotely interested in switching to Nike, adidas, Puma etc if they were interested in producing a kit that was for us and us alone.
Tommeh Posted 29 March 2010 Posted 29 March 2010 Adidas kits are shit and virtually all the same. Nike's are tidy. Our current home strip is in my honest opinion the nicest going in England currently. If a shirt is different and unique it's highly probable I'll like it. e.g Everton Black/Pink, Barca Peach..
FoxyPV Posted 29 March 2010 Posted 29 March 2010 Would everyone not prefer to have a charity on our shirts again next seaon rather than a sponsor? I know it's a good way of getting money for the club but there is something about it that leaves me cold. The joma kits are great.
Samilktray Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Alot of people were slating Burnleys decision to go for PUma, but that is a class kit. This is that bad, I actually find myself liking it.
Edmund Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Alot of people were slating Burnleys decision to go for PUma, but that is a class kit. Looks identical to their current kit

Shrenchel Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 The Bolton shorts Yeah, they're fvcked up. Look like the shorts they used to give you out of lost property when you forgot your PE kit.
