Ford Super Sunday Posted 2 May 2010 Posted 2 May 2010 And the award for the most ridiculous ticketing policy for a final goes to..... FULHAM Due to the extraordinary level of interest in UEFA Europa League Final tickets, the full allocation of 12,400 tickets has now sold out. A limited number of Official Club travel packages are still available (match tickets not included - unless specified). That's no surprise, you expect that with them having roughly 12,000 season ticket holders, but then I read this... On-sale dates * Season Ticket Holders on sale (4 tickets) 2010/11 Season Ticket holders can purchase during the STH window. * Fulham Club Members Tuesday, 4 May 7am (4 tickets*) * Supporters with Purchase History Wednesday, 5 May 7am (TBC) 4 bastard tickets? I've already read people who are season ticket holders and can't get one. An utter disgrace and feck up by Fulham there. Season ticket holders should never be allowed four tickets to a european final, especially when the allocation is so tiny. Outrage And so the touts begin. A simple search on eBay brings up... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/EUROPA-LEAGUE-FINAL-TICKETS-2010-/300423378226?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Tickets_Tickets_LE&hash=item45f2a0f532 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-Europa-League-Final-CAT-2-Tickets-/260595307870?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Tickets_Tickets_LE&hash=item3cacb0d55e http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-x-Europa-League-Final-Tickets-/280500719200?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Tickets_Tickets_LE&hash=item414f254e60 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/EUROPA-LEAGUE-FINAL-2010-2x-tickets-category2-/330429295829?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Tickets_Tickets_LE&hash=item4cef1eecd5
Guest Bilo Posted 2 May 2010 Posted 2 May 2010 An almighty cock up by Fulham that. Their travelling support is notoriously awful in terms of numbers but if they really thought that it remain so for a European final they really are clueless. If by some miracle we made it to a European final, I'd be picketing the Walkers ticket office if I missed out on a ticket because of such incompetence.
Jay Posted 2 May 2010 Posted 2 May 2010 I would be more angry with UEFA wanting to know why the combined allocation for each team is less than half the capacity if the stadium!! do they really need 25000+ corporate seats?
Fosse Boy Posted 2 May 2010 Posted 2 May 2010 Utterly ridiculous, but it's also the fault of UEFA who would rather sell their tickets to suits than fans.
Edmund Posted 2 May 2010 Posted 2 May 2010 You do realise all those tickets for sale on ebay are not specifically for the Fulham allocation. They are just the standard tickets for the neutral, anyone could have bought tickets and done the same thing.
Anish Posted 2 May 2010 Posted 2 May 2010 Disgraceful from Fulham. If I was a Fulham member without any season ticket holder friends I'd be outraged.

Is it not illegal to sell tickets likes this?
Simi Posted 2 May 2010 Posted 2 May 2010 I would be more angry with UEFA wanting to know why the combined allocation for each team is less than half the capacity if the stadium!! do they really need 25000+ corporate seats? Correct. That, to me, is the saddest part of it all.
BoneDog Posted 2 May 2010 Posted 2 May 2010 12,400 tickets for a European cup final is disgusting. Whoever makes these rules are a bunch of winkers. It's shocking
Bert Posted 3 May 2010 Posted 3 May 2010 Utterly ridiculous, but it's also the fault of UEFA who would rather sell give their tickets to suits than fans.
Podge Posted 4 May 2010 Posted 4 May 2010 I would be more angry with UEFA wanting to know why the combined allocation for each team is less than half the capacity if the stadium!! do they really need 25000+ corporate seats? They don't all go to corporate, fans from any club can apply for a large number of tickets for both European finals, I know a Villa fan who applied for two for the final in Manchester got them but when Rangers got there he managed to sell them for £120 each.
Jordan Posted 5 May 2010 Posted 5 May 2010 apparently, Fulham have asked UEFA for more tickets to the game As an aside, any Fulham fans that have followed their team around Europe for the whole of their Europa League campaign have either deep pockets or live austerely otherwise
AyewJoking Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 Utterly ridiculous, but it's also the fault of UEFA who would rather sell their tickets to suits than fans. not sure about that. free tickets for sponsors and all that.
