Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Still not got over the penalty yet? how can you get over such a stupid penalty ? so close to wembley to play in a game worth 90 million. i could maybe get over it if he came out and apologised but no he didnt, he went to the french media ( todays mercury ) and he was almost slagging the leicester fans off saying things like 'the reaction has been greatly exaggerated and has taken on incrdeible proportions' and 'i am very disapointed that they havent given me more confidence' ( the fans ) .... this a joke, what are we surposed to do ? love him for the being the man that could have cost us a place in the premier leauge. he also said 'certain people have taken the pleasure to remonstrate that, and it has hurt me', im 15 years old and spent alot of money this season on 18 away games and missed two days off school so close to my exams to go and watch us in the play offs and going to wembley meant so much to me as ive never been before, kermorgant obviously doesnt have any sympathy for us fans if he thinks we should be happy with what he did, its all good for him he can go home and carry on living his dream with his thousands of pounds each week .... hope we sell the w**ker !

Lighten up, so he missed 1 penalty, lots of players have missed penalties: Baggio in USA '94, Several Frenchman in the '06 world cup, Several englishmen in WC's 90,98,06 and euro 2004 all of which had a fair bit more riding on them than yanns did (potential of winning world cup for two of them, potential of reaching WC final for Eng-90, reaching semis in 98,04,06) and yet most if not all had forgiven them with a couple of days. In the end he's just a normal person who - through hard work, commitment and sheer mental strength - has been able to earn a bit more than most people. That extra earning does not make his mistakes less forgivable than one you or i made during the course of a day at work/college

That extra earning does not make his mistakes less forgivable than one you or i made during the course of a day at work/college yhh and have you noticed that robertio baggio's penalty miss and staurt pearce's penalty misses still get shown and talked about even to this day ? some people get over things quciker than others but what has kermogant ever done for this club ? he scored one goal ... wow what a player, theres nothing to defend him about, fans have the rite to have their opinions and the players clearly have theirs, none of them have contacted him and tbh i would do the same hes a twat
