FoxyPV Posted 9 June 2010 Posted 9 June 2010 only toasted on the cheese side, then served with sauce de brune The type of cheese is essential - a nice bit of Mexicana never goes amiss especially on toasted (both sides) rye bread. Brown sauce on cheese on toast just seems wrong.
Unabomber Posted 9 June 2010 Posted 9 June 2010 Hot sauces are my weakness. Encona Hot Pepper sauce especially. Seriously, I have it on burgers, cheese on toast, pizzas and everything. I am exactly the same, absolutely love it. Most actual sauce aren't as hot as they portray but got a bottle of HP Seriously Hot and it is amazing.

Teece Posted 9 June 2010 Posted 9 June 2010 Current addictions of mine are: Coriander Tesco Caramelised Onion & Poppy Seed bagels, beaut toasted with some mature cheddar on Tesco Finest Columbian Coffee Ice cream Blueberries M&S Taw valley cheddar and caramelised shallot crisps (nicest crisps ever) My homemade Coleslaw Poached egg on wholemeal toast , nom nom nom, in fact , eating poached eggs right now

Neither look right And I agree with whoever said HP is good on cheese on toast. Lovely stuff, either Brown or Fruity. Lovin that Fruity Sauce. I've never tried the Hot ones but I'm getting some in. If you love HP Brown try it all over the top of a Cottage Pie. Lovely stuff Keith.
