Kick-Off Time Changes Posted on: Fri 25 Jun 2010Leicester City's first live televised outing of the season will be the home clash against Reading (Saturday, August 28). The match previously scheduled for a 3pm start, will now kick-off at 5.20pm for broadcast live on SKY Sports. Another of City's fixture has also received a change in kick-off time with the February 12 trip to Pride Park to face Derby County now kicking off at 1pm.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Dont know why the Derby game has been changed it was 3pm last season and there wasnt any trouble or anyting I dont think.
john_lcfc Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 There was probably disorder somewhere involving a group of fans drinking so they thought it necessary to bring it forward. I imagine forest away will be brought forward too. Our police seem decent in not moving too many games. I remember few years back they brought Birmingham forward to 12pm due to intelligence of planned disorder or something, but cant remember too many others.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 I think there was a bit or argy bargy at Derby last season Reading at 5? what the hell atleast make it a decent game i love 5:20 kick offs, plenty of drinking time but for Reading home??
Guest Bilo Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Fvcking Reading?! That famous old rivalry between us and the hated Royals? Ah well, as ARAB says, more drinking time.

Yeah dont take my word as gospel though i just heard there was outside the stadium a couple minutes into the game would explain why they moved the game but it could just be a load of bollocks
foxoffderby Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 There was a bit of trouble after the Derby game, towards Derby town centre and near the railway station. Nothing major coppers sorted it.

davieG Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 I wonder how many people will cry off and use their now spare ticket to take someone to another game.
BoneDog Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 If from at the end of last season carries on into the start of this season then this Leicester Reading game should be entertaining. I would of thought that's why Sky have decided to show it. It's two of the favourites to do well this season and I'm quite happy this one's on tv.
Sods Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Strange how im at Reading Festival while we play Reading at home, might go find a pub for this now. TA!

Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 27 June 2010 Posted 27 June 2010 Strange how im at Reading Festival while we play Reading at home, might go find a pub for this now. TA! I am as well coming to think of it! I'm glad you posted that because I'd forgotten all about it somehow. That was one of the first things I was going to look for when the fixtures came out but I completely forgot! I was praying I wouldn't be missing a decent away game so this is a bit of a turn up actually
john_lcfc Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 Tigers announced there fixtures and we have home clashes on: SAt 27th November v Forest Boxing day v Leeds Saturday 19th Feb v Bristol City Our club needs to be very strong and show we want 2 of our biggest games to occur when we want them too, none of that crap across the road dictating.
