What matters are the reasons behind why MM cannot stump up an increase in wage on NPs contract.

A lack of transfer fees, so be it, but from a guy calling NP honest, full of integrity, loyal and the like, MM has us all fooled imo.

Some of our fans have been arrogant, but no more so than some of them.

In a perfect world everyone would act with dignity and there wouldn't have been this situation in the first place - i.e. they wouldn't have approached a manager currently in a job - but it has happened and emotions run high.

I've disliked Hull as a club for a while now (their gung-ho approach to spending in the Premier League grates) and this whole episode hasn't helped my opinion of them. Having said that, there's no need for 'the bigger club' argument. It's juvenile as fvck.
