Disco Posted 24 July 2010 Posted 24 July 2010 When will Leicester City get an app ? The Tigers have one !!
C-man Posted 24 July 2010 Posted 24 July 2010 What's the point? It wouldn't be any quicker than the OS and probably even slower in reporting news.
jerakin Posted 25 July 2010 Posted 25 July 2010 When will Leicester City get an app ? The Tigers have one !! I would love them to have one. One that allowed streaming of live match commentary for those who pay for access. Could listen to matches in the car, or wherever I happen to be (live in the US.)
xlive2 Posted 25 July 2010 Posted 25 July 2010 I'd love a city app. I spotted the official Birmingham one today on the app store and thought exactly the same thing
Stadt Posted 25 July 2010 Posted 25 July 2010 What's an 'app' ? Short for application something u get on ipods or iphones
strattylcfc Posted 25 July 2010 Posted 25 July 2010 Ive got a app sort off on android ita football update thing and u can save leicester in favs and go straight to news its handy
Foxblogger Posted 26 July 2010 Posted 26 July 2010 iFooty does a reasonably good job pushing news updates from the BBC website and goal alerts (albeit slowly) to your phone. It'll do for now.

Ashley Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 I wouldn't mind a Leicester app, it'd be expensive tho. Foxestalk has an app doesn't it?
Cheese Me Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 I wouldn't mind a Leicester app, it'd be expensive tho. Foxestalk has an app doesn't it? Does it? Where can I get it? Edit - also agree with the above, it would be great if there could be live streaming of games via an app (e.g. Foxes Player mobile). I also live outside Leicester and can only listen to commentary on my PC

strattylcfc Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 Its free in android market called football update
haraven Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 Android for the win - I got a HTC Desire, and got a Soccer Livescores app installed, which gives you the results and who scored. However, I move to motion support to original poster - a Leicester City app would be great. On the move, in the mountains, out of pc-range - apps are always handy and give you the info you need a lot faster than browsing via your smart phone.
Winchester Posted 4 June 2011 Posted 4 June 2011 So anybody know of an official LCFC app that's available or in the process of being developed. Live commentary on my phone would be brilliant.
Haydos Posted 4 June 2011 Posted 4 June 2011 When will Leicester City get an app ? The Tigers have one !! Yeah we should, we are the biggest football club in the world!
Winchester Posted 4 June 2011 Posted 4 June 2011 Ah man, just noticed it's an app from smug turtleneck wearing fascist. Please bring out an android app too!
FoxesAreBlue Posted 4 June 2011 Posted 4 June 2011 Reply to self: My link that app is ok but it's a football league app that you can set yours up to have Leicester as your home team the news just links to the main LCFC website and the 4.99 extra for the videos is ok but not brilliant, often each video is a couple of mins long showing the goals and a couple of chances but the commentary isn't recorded live and is awful - suppose it's worth it to see the goals again though personally I won't be buying the upgrade next season....
HEGGSY Posted 4 June 2011 Posted 4 June 2011 This is the app i've been using. It doesnt offer video but its a great little app and includes quite alot of stuff. Best of all its completely dedicated to LCFC Heres the link for the app on the apple site not to sure whether its available on Android though. http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/leicester-city-total-news/id402177688?mt=8

I thought the highlights were quality. It's the same highlights you get on FoxesPlayer. Some videos were like 8 or 9 minutes long and they went on for a minimum of 3 minutes. All depending on the game. It showed every chance and goal usually, so when we played Millwall at home it was like 9 minutes because of the chances and goals, but i think Pompey at home was only about 3 minutes purely because there were no chances! In other words i recommend the £5 extra for highlights heavily, especially if you live abroad or away from Leicester.
Ozwin Posted 4 June 2011 Posted 4 June 2011 If I knew how I'd be well up for making an unofficial app.

I won't be getting the Football League one next season either! Changed phones a few months ago and as my old iPhone broke but I couldn't get the key to be able to activate premium content. Received no reply when I contacted developers either
