Narborough_fox Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 15th, very happy with the second half performance.
lcfcbradyboy Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 2nd half much better could beat the team that got stuffed 3-1 at home next week
Petchy Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 All look absolutely shattered from the clip on SSN. Something's not right there..
Ozwin Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 We should have won that, even with the 3 goal defecit. Glad they decided to show up in the 2nd half though. Clearly just stuck in pre season mode in the first half.
Little Nicky Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 My optimism was restored by that second half, Dyer sounded like he played a belter, 3-2 from where we were at half time is brilliant. Bring on Boro!
MPH Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 ist half i put down to the changes in style and manager..would of been nice to win, but sounded a typical boring Sousa game all those swansea fans were warning us about... No shots, no posession, no passion
Ozwin Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 All look absolutely shattered from the clip on SSN. Something's not right there.. You and everyone else is looking far too into it. They just played 90 minutes and chased the game for 70 odd minutes, of course they're gonna be knackered, they're human.
Northants Fox 3 Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 Oh well!!!!! at least they put up a fight in the second half
dandannieldanok Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 All look absolutely shattered from the clip on SSN. Something's not right there.. Yea you're right, I've never seen such tired, lacklustre handshakes from a set of players. It's not good enough.
MPH Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 All look absolutely shattered from the clip on SSN. Something's not right there.. they ran their plums unto the ground trying to get back into the game...
Madrid_Fox Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 If one good thing has come from today it is that Mr Sousa will have realised that Richie Wellens is one of our best players. It may have convinced him that Howard can still do a job every now and again. Unfortunately we didnt have the rub of the green infront of goal. Oh well, see what we can do next week. Tuesday might be a good opportunity to have a look at Moreno as well.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 Shit defence cost us. Still dont take our chances. Set pieces are still poor. Improved with Howard and Wellens on.
CKB Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 Well 3-2 after being 3-0 down and then dominating the second half gives me great confidence.. We could have with ease folded and lost by 5 but didn't.. With a few more additions to the squad when this takeover/investment is completed i think we will be ok! Anyhow i am shattered after typing that i am clearly unfit according to Stringer.....
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 One positive is that we have found a half decent summariser.
Ozwin Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 Ugh, they're such idiots. Why are they banging on about fitness? Looking for something that isn't there, players will always be knackered after a game.
MPH Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 Look on the bright side... if we had won that first game and started well the new owners would if been deceived into thinking they didnt need to spend any money. Transfer window would of closed and we would drop quicker than a cheap prozzy on an english actor in a dimly lit car park... Let the money come!
dandannieldanok Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 Proud Come on, please stick to the official line. We're not proud at all, Sousa has turned them into unfit couch potatoes and Matt Oakley is disgustingly bad. Go spread your blasphemy elsewhere.
Tilley Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 What do you expect when you play Oakley as captain and Neilson at right back? Regardless of the second half, 3-0 down at half time is inexcusable.
EmLeee Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 Still loads of positives to take away from today - main one being we pulled it back and almost scraped a point. Tuesday nights team selection should be interesting. Welcome back Leicester!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 What do you expect when you play Oakley as captain and Neilson at right back? Regardless of the second half, 3-0 down at half time is inexcusable. Neilson sounded ok, for once.
Guest shearfox Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 disappointed to not have at least drew that match because Palace were not that great we rolled them over once we got our game going.
Ozwin Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 I actually am raging at them for talking about fitness issues. STFU YOU TWATS, THEY WERE ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK ALL SECOND HALF, THEY'RE BOUND TO BE KNACKERED, ARRRRGGGHHHH
