One person thinks they heard on the radio a bid had been accepted... a station no other Leicester fan was listening to because nobody else has heard it.

So more than likely it's a complete load of made up shite, or someone misheard. And before anyone says it's also on Blackpool boards, they took it off Bentleys and ran around acting like it was true, until they realised there was no substance to it and started deleting the threads they had started.

I'm locking this, there is nothing to the story for the moment so there is no point in adding to the rumours. If there is something more credible at another time then i'll merge it with the other 8 billions DJ threads.

IAN Holloway has spoke of his disappointment at failing to land top target DJ Campbell. The Pool boss has made repeated bids for the striker who scored 11 goals in 17 games on loan from Leicester last season.

The top offer over £1m.

But the Foxes have decided not to sell, mainly because new boss Paulo Sousa wants the 28-year-old in his team.

Holloway revealed: "The one I wanted to do more than anything else was DJ. I'm sorry I am not in control of that.

"We're not going to pay £2m or £3m for him because he is 28, but I tried my utmost and we almost did it.

"It was almost there, then his club turned round and said no. And the boy has now scored five goals in his last five games."
