Finding it hard to find any positives so far.

Please also note who NP has just signed for Hull...Jay Simpson my guess he'll be a real success........

I agree with you. Its a much safer bet, particularly in championship football which is fast and franetic at the best of times to go with a loan like simpson rather than take a gamble on Crncic who has a lot of adapting, on and off the pitch, to life in english football.

The same could be said of a player like Lamey when players like Kyle Naughton, Kyle Walker, Kerrea Gilbert, Seamus Coleman, Stephen Darby etc are around and available owing to the new Premiership squad size rules.

Surely a manager has to be adaptable to be able to play a range of styles.....the neat passing when required and the ugly stuff when necessary.

The nature of this league suggests pragmatism over glamour

Still feel exactly the same, if not worst knowing that the team is capitulating with transfer requests being handed in.

This season is over before it's even started. :(

Now knowing that players have given in transfer requests, I feel so bad now. I know it's only 4 league games into the season but it feels that it's back to mid table mediocrity or a so close but so far season.

After the 2nd half at Leeds I was feeling so optimistic that Sousa had sussed out his best team and was really looking forward to this game to see if the Howard / Gallagher / King combo down the middle backed up Wellens could repeat the performance and then I heard the team. Moreno back at CB when he wasn't even any good in DCM, no King and 442 what a let down what disappointment and produced a predictable disjointed performance. I really don't see how we going to get any sort of consistency and team work on the back of trying to change to a passing game a passing game that I've only seen in patches with as much hoofing as we saw last season.

I feel really deflated tonight, another performance that leaves me thinking we are way too short of quality to be challengers this season. Although we had the chances to win it, the defence is still leaking goals. I am not going to single out individuals for critisism but too many players were found wanting tonight, if it was not for the Lloyd Dyer show we may have found our task much harder. I await Tuesday's transfer deadline with great interest, I only hope that we bring in players with English football pedigree and quality, players from abroad is not the answer. I bet come Tuesday we have not spent over £2 million or even 500k come to think of it.

I've tried to be positive but I haven't felt this concerned with a manager since Taylor.

I've tried to be positive but I haven't felt this concerned with a manager since Taylor.

It's a feeling I've not had once over the last two seasons. Even after the 5-1 drubbing at Forest I was down but at least I knew there was light around the corner.

Deep down I feel a lot of the signings are MOF trying to get his hands on the Thais' money before they suss him out.

The team we are now fielding compared to last season is alot weaker, Sousa had a good set of players which just needed a few improvements. Insted he is trying to create a whole new squad which will take time and I don't think the club have the patience to let him do this. I'm really finding it hard to see any success coming from this season

All the optimism I had after the comeback at Leeds has evaporated.

I'm struggling to see, with our next few fixtures, where this morale-boostin league win will come from.

I think the tactic of leaving out your best players from your starting line up, playing a midfielder who cant head it at centre back instead of one of the leagues most promising young players and persisting with players who are clearly over the hill is inspired management.

Its the surprise element.

Oh and also on the subject of transfer dealings, just try to build a squad representing as many nations as possible without prior thought to how they will fit into the squad.

Were off to a flyer

...... Came home from work at 10 (brimming with confidence for a city win) to watch the game on sky+, and what followed was soul-destroying to say the least

i know they beat us at the walkers last season, but jesus christ they havn't added to their squad at all....

and Moreno looks like a dead cert to follow in the footsteps of one Titus Bramble.... For every four good touches theres a shocker coming from somewhere

my faith in Sousa is waining by the hour
