How about Chris Foy being four yards away from a ball looking over the line in the last minute of Stoke Tottenham yet still looking to his linesman on the other side of the pitch before not giving a goal? Interesting decision, Chris.

How about Howard 'best referee in the world' Webb's decision not to send Michael Chopra off against us in the play-offs. Also, giving in to Bothroyd. As well as dishing out yellow cards to us as if nothing but to Cardiff, pah, your having a laugh!

Oh, and then there was the world cup final. Shocking.

We could easily tear apart referees after watching our beloved Leicester City on a Saturday.

But one referee I do admire is Mark Halsey

How about this one from Germany. Yes it was given as a goal. Luckily this was something like the fifth in a 5-0, so had little bearing on the result.

I gather you are a referee or whatever, but stop being a twat. Don't see why you are so defensive of referees, I mean people who play football don't get this defensive if a player makes a mistake. No doubt you'll be pissing yourself when a footballer makes a mistake.

this has sort of gone off course. I meant videos of referees making a fool out of them selves like the one i posted throwing his red card away or steve lodge tripping over the ball when trying to pass it back to a player - those sorts of blunders. Perhaps i should have clarified that in the OP.

So a referee disallowing a goal that has clearly gone over the line which everyone in the stadium has seen but him isn't making a fool out of himself?

again could have worded it better. More making a fool out of themselves in a way that any fan can laugh at them rather than be angry that the ref has cost them.

Oh and DB if you want to see players being made a fool out of then post some videos of that, but do you not think that there have been enough DVD's and videos put out there that make players look stupid.
