dog_4 Posted 21 May 2005 Posted 21 May 2005 if craig levein is to spend any money on transfer fees he must spend that money on the right wing. we need someone quick and positive and i reckon either jamal cambell-ryce or kazim-richards cud be our men. so far levein is being linked with older players and signing up old heads like wilcox etc. now i feel its time levein made one of those stephan hughes type signings.
Louise Posted 21 May 2005 Posted 21 May 2005 Levein isn't going to sign anyone for a few weeks yet, a lot of leagues are only just finishing and sides deciding who to let go. This is the boring part of the year. Most contracts don't run out until the end of June. I don't think Adams signed anyone last year before July. Just because all we've seen so far are older players contracts being renewed (or the link with Rab Douglas), that doesn't mean Levein isn't looking at 'Hughes-type' signings, he's out scouting abroad as we speak.
dog_4 Posted 21 May 2005 Author Posted 21 May 2005 yeh i heard pet. no exitement at the mo but good fun when new signings coming through the door. upfront we are being linked with strikers such has steffan moore or gary macheffary. if we signed one of them that wud be cool and then hopefully sign atleast anouth two younger players which i reckon cud be one of the wingers i've already suggested and burton o'brian the defender from livingston. commons though weren't come unless stewart leaves for burnley has suggested.
supedaj Posted 22 May 2005 Posted 22 May 2005 Stewart for Burnley? Is there any truth in that? and who said commons wont come if stewart is still here? sounds a little suspect to me.. if you have the original source please provide it..
