HonradaRaposa Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 I think we could have fooking rooney up front and youd still pick fault Really, would I? I find it astoinishing that anyone can defend him after the last 2 games he started, it amazes me. There are some real attachment issues with folk on here.
HonradaRaposa Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Anyone else while you're getting it off your chest? Yes, Wellens and N'Guessan.

HonradaRaposa Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Howard was the reason Derby were promoted to the Prem, he is getting on... but he is still an asset as he is the only target man we have. Fryatt has scored at this level, & I am sure hewill do it again, but you can hardly demonise the guy if he has had little support from the team who he relys on to create sufficent oppertunites for him to score the goals to get the fans off his back. His lack off effort however is something which I beleieve to be over exagerated, I was more disapointed at his innability to pass the ball to a team mate who would have scored 99/100 if he passed him the ball rather than shooting / blazing over the bar. Outstanding, gets little support - you will do when you spend most of the time on your heels or hiding between opposition players.

Webbo Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Outstanding, gets little support - you will do when you spend most of the time on your heels or hiding between opposition players. I think you'll find that's called 'being marked'.
HonradaRaposa Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Answered your own question tho! The minute a player steos over the line and doesn't put in an ounce of effort then yes all respect has gone, but if you are prepared to stand back and accept it from players then more fool you. He's that good, he is still here and the only Club that wants him is Derby fookin County
Corky Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 We should hate every player, at least it's fair that way.
HonradaRaposa Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 I think you'll find that's called 'being marked'. :crylaugh: That is the most pathetic excuse for a player I have ever read. We should hate every player, at least it's fair that way. Put the effort in and you'll be fine. Take the piss and fook off out the door.

I believe that statement to be a grossly innacurate blanket statement. His job is to get inbetween defenders & he certainly has not stood on his heels for 90 minutes, I would be impressed if anyone could attempt to stand let alone play football on their heels for 90 miuntes. Fryatt's movement in attacking play is very good, also is his ability to dribble past defenders, he is let down with not being the "pacey'st" players in the division. I think if you want to look for waekensses in the team, it is probably best to look at our full backs, & our options on the wings, rather than the striker who thrives on good service which is lacking

The problem with Fryatt is he won't get in to these positions you speak of, as he won't try. Still you keep the faith in him and watch it go unrequited.

He's that good, he is still here and the only Club that wants him is Derby fookin County I agree that every player should put 100% in everytime they cross the white line, however these players are people too, they have their problems & any little thing can effect form. Every player goes through good & bad form. Surely it is a bit realistic to expect 100% for any person doing their profession, what if he has a cold or minor illness? It's an odd suggestion ha ha I am prepaired to accept a poor performance, a defeat & unjust decisions, as its a part of football. I could whinge and make accusations & single out players or officials but some players deserve respect for their previous service earned over time. Fryatt has done well & played very poorly over his time at Leicester & is one of our longest serving players at the club. His efforts last season & the season previous deserve recognition, I recognise these efforts & respect him as a person & player for his previous efforts, if a club like Derby are interested in him then surely he is doing something to deserve their interest? Obviously your not their chief scout! Your entitled to your opinions, but it really is against the grain.

Agred on the wide, especially at full back, but the do try their best I am sure. Ha ve a look at the QPR goal last season when he headed in from a cross, perfect example! That goal show what kind of support he will need to score goals, IMO he aint getting that delivery to his head or feet & is not as productive as he could be. Even Torres is having exactly the same problem at Liverpool & he is one of the best in the world, maybe if Fryatt continues with the drought & percieved lack of effort untill Jan then will be the time for finger pointing, but 6 gams of which he has not played all is far 2 soon to call the guy. IMO they are all adapting to the system, at some point it will click or we will be looking for a new manager either way Fryatt will be here until Jan at least.
stivesfox Posted 24 September 2010 Author Posted 24 September 2010 Conclusion Fryatt is good the other 10 players are shit! Let's get Paulo to change tactics and play how Fryatt wants after all the greatest striker in Britain needs service. Oh he isn't match fit either bless him! Long balls don't put anything in the air as the defenders are bigger than him! Amazing absolutely amazing, he wasn't singled out as some rightly put great league one striker one and half seasons of football put this man in Leicester folklore! So over to Fryatt let's see if his sterling work rate continues or by Xmas people find him out for lazy player he really is. He is that great clubs are banging on Sousa door ermmm Derby! Reading the thread a massive fryatt appreciation club, wonder if he appreciates the fans with his I don't wanna be here attitude never mind revisit this topic in December
Guest Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 We should hate every player, at least it's fair that way. I had enough of that while Levein was here thank you very much
