CosbehFox Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Do you remember how he finished that move? Yeah it hit a Newcastle defender on the a**e who barely had a clue about it.
kimsalabim Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 I don't know if going from playing in a team that was in the top 6 all season last time around, to what has been happening this season so far would exactly put a smile on my face, but the transfer window is shut, so the jury's out.
Webbo Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Any player who doesn't bother their arse is a disgrace to the shirt and that is Matt Fryatt. Change the record ffs.

Guest Bilo Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Any player who doesn't bother their arse is a disgrace to the shirt and that is Matt Fryatt. Did he shit in your wheelie bin or something?
caz05 Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Did he shit in your wheelie bin or something? Either that or shagged his mrs
Uncle Monty Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Did he shit in your wheelie bin or something? I heard it's cat's that they're now putting in wheelie bins, oooooh.
HonradaRaposa Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Did he shit in your wheelie bin or something? What? What kind of stupid remark is that? Clearly he didn't I very much doubt Fryatt would be such a social delinquent However his efforts in a City shirt at Coventry and against QPR were disgraceful, but you carry on

shade Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Maybe not hero worship but also not hate campaign! kids these days are so fickle, won't be long until a striker is loathed for going 20 minutes without a goal!
caz05 Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 he's been here nearly 5 years and performed for a season and a half max, he doesn't deserve the hero worship some on here seem to have bestowed on him No ones saying hes a hero mate, but he doesnt deserve all the hate from certain people on here either. Its fooking pathetic
Kilworthfox Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 No ones saying hes a hero mate, but he doesnt deserve all the hate from certain people on here either. Its fooking pathetic Does anyone actually think the change in the way we now play is effecting "all" of our strikers not just Fryatt. What clear cut chances have actually been created this season? We seem to push the opposition back to their own box, camp in their half only to play backwards passes to each other untill it breaks down & we get counter attacked. Fryatt is the same as all of our strikers, he needs the right service for his game, if the players develop under Sousa & play the type of football required to be successful under Sousa's new system then the clear chances & goals will come for all our strikers not Just Matty.
HonradaRaposa Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Trouble is our League One strike force of Howard and Fryatt have not done it consistantly at this level.

Agreed. For all the shots we've had, it's not like we've been carving out five guilt-edged chances a game. The Fryatt abuse is ridiculous.
Webbo Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Trouble is our League One strike force of Howard and Fryatt have not done it consistantly at this level. So it's not just Fryatt now it's Howard too? Is he not trying as well or is he just crap?
caz05 Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Trouble is our League One strike force of Howard and Fryatt have not done it consistantly at this level. I think we could have fooking rooney up front and youd still pick fault
HonradaRaposa Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 So it's not just Fryatt now it's Howard too? Is he not trying as well or is he just crap? Yes Howard is shit and always fookin has been for us, £1million for a sack of spuds who can't kick a ball over 18 yards.
Kilworthfox Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Trouble is our League One strike force of Howard and Fryatt have not done it consistantly at this level. Howard was the reason Derby were promoted to the Prem, he is getting on... but he is still an asset as he is the only target man we have. Fryatt has scored at this level, & I am sure hewill do it again, but you can hardly demonise the guy if he has had little support from the team who he relys on to create sufficent oppertunites for him to score the goals to get the fans off his back. His lack off effort however is something which I beleieve to be over exagerated, I was more disapointed at his innability to pass the ball to a team mate who would have scored 99/100 if he passed him the ball rather than shooting / blazing over the bar.

Guest ttfn Posted 22 September 2010 Posted 22 September 2010 Fryatt's record in a decent team (i.e. since we came back up) is actually pretty good. I think it's something like 13 in 34. Not world beating, but extrapolated over a season that's about17 league goals, which nobody here would sniff at.
